“Hello, Edenbury!” Evie yells into the mic. “Are you ready to rock?”

Everyone cheers, the Musketeers the loudest.

“That’s our niece and nephew!” Bailey and Zane shout.

The drummer, Elliot, gives them a beat and they start playing the music and singing. The audience sings along and dances, a few people jumping in their spots.

Evie and Noah have always vibed off each other so well, but it’s different now. They’re not just owning the stage, they’re owning the entire hall. Their voices blend together so well and once they finish all their songs, the crowd demands an encore. Evie and Noah happily oblige.

If it were up to everyone in here, we’d demand more and more songs, but all good things must come to an end, and Evie and Noah thank everyone for coming. Then they walk off stage.

As the place empties, everyone can’t get over how great the performance was. Evie and Noah and the rest of the band are going to be even more famous than they already are. Their music is already selling like crazy.

The Four Musketeers and Musketeer Trio and our guys rush backstage to greet the band. Evie and Noah and the others are talking animatedly about how incredible it was to perform tonight.

“Hey, everyone!” Evie says. She hugs each and every one of us. “Thanks so much for coming.”

“Like we’d ever miss a concert from you guys,” Rylee teases her sister-in-law.

Noah also hugs us all. His eyes take in Mason, Kade, and Declan. “I see you girls have been busy the last few months,” he says with a smile. He introduces himself to Kade and Declan, who introduce themselves as well, and thanks them for coming. Then Noah holds out his hand to Mason. “Hey again, Mason. It’s great to finally talk to you face-to-face.”

“Ugh! Stop being an overprotective big brother, Noah!” Rylee complains.

“I’m not. I’m just happy to finally meet the love of my little sister’s life in person.”

Rylee humphs, crossing her arms over her chest.

Mason smiles as he shakes Noah’s hand. “It’s great to see you face-to-face, too. The concert was amazing.”

Noah wraps his arm around Evie, pulling her close to his chest. “Couldn’t have done it without this awesome woman here.”

Evie playfully whacks him in the chest. “He’s being humble. He wrote all the lyrics.”

“We wrote them together,” Noah corrects.

“Just admit it was mostly you.”

“But it wasn’t.”

“It wa—!”

Laughing lightly, Noah presses a sweet but passionate kiss on her lips.

“Oh my gosh, Noah Barrington. You did not just shut me up with a kiss.” She gives him an irritated look, then pulls him by the front of his shirt and kisses him back.

We all compliment them on their spectacular performance and demand to know when they’ll come back again. They tell us they don’t know, but they definitely want to perform in Edenbury more often. After all, this is where their career started.

We stay for a while, talking and laughing and just spending time together. Ally, Zack, Kara, and Brayden are really sad to say goodbye, but Evie and Noah reassure them that they’ll be back in Edenbury for Lily and Xavier’s engagement party.

“So…” I whisper to Declan as we make our way to the parking lot. “Still want to be part of this huge crazy family?”

He stops walking and takes my hands. Looking into my eyes intensely, a large smile forms on his face. “Definitely.”

I place my hand on his chest, raise my head, and plant a soft kiss on his lips.

He pulls me close and kisses me deeply, like he doesn’t want to let go of me. I don’t want to let go of him, either.

“Ji-Ho, they’re at it again,” Mom grumbles. “Mia, Declan, let’s go. It’s late.”
