“But you never said anything.”
“I know baby. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you.”
“How did you get all the work done?”
“Kerry-Ann, the virtual assistant I hired to help me.”
“I see. So your name is Kendrick?”
“I like it when you call me Ken.”
He grins down at me and before I can respond, he kisses me. The next thing I know, he’s inside me again. Why do I think that it’s so fucking hot that he did all this for me? I need my head examined. Hell, so does he. We’re perfect for each other.

KENDRICK
Damn, she looked so sexy spread out on her desk with her skirt bunched up, moaning and wiggling for me. I have had this very dream numerous times, coming in my sleep thinking of her laid out before in this setting. She let me inside of her just now, but I need to know if we’re okay.
“Baby look at me,” I command while she is getting herself together. “April.” She looks at me, and my breath stops. Not only is so fucking breathtaking, her lips swollen and signs of ownership on her neck, but she looks…radiant. She smiles at me and turns to grab her shoes. Something in me is telling me this is the right time.
So, while her back is to me, I pull the ring I have been carrying around for the last three months out of my pocket and quietly drop to my knees. I open the box, and that is the moment she turns. I could give her a diatribe on all the ways I love her and how happy we are going to be, but I go for the straightforward approach.
“Marry me, woman.” Her mouth opens and closes, but no words come out. Her hand flies to her mouth, and my stomach begins to turn. Is she going to turn me down?
“What kind of proposal is that?” she asks with a smile on her face. Chuckling, I look at the woman I love with everything in me and start to tell her that.
“My love. My friend. My everything. Will you…”
“YES!” she shouts before running into my arms. Lifting her off her feet, I happily swing her around and kiss her.
“Thank you, beautiful. Thank you for making me the happiest man alive.”
Kissing her, I deposit her back on my desk and slide back into her. My fiancée. My soon-to-be wife. My life is finally complete with her by my side.
EPILOGUE
APRIL
THREE WEEKS LATER
“What?” I say into the phone. “We need to bring this onto a video chat.” After a few seconds, my three sisters, January, February, and March, come into view.
“We have another sister.”
“We do?”
“Yes. Her name is May. She reached out to us through the clinic. She wants to meet us. Are you in?”
“Of course. When?”
“Next week. Can you be in DC?”
“Yeah. I’ll book a flight.”
“Then it’s settled. Now, what’s going on with you and Ken?”
“Everything,” I gush before telling them, well… everything. I am amazed at how easy it is to talk to them. They are virtual strangers, but they are my sisters, and that bond seems to go deep.
