“Get us out of here Ri!” I yell. Taking the AK from the bottom of the bag, I flip the safety switch into position and slap the mag into place, pulling the bolt carrier back, letting a round into the chamber. Rolling the window down, I lean the gun against my shoulder, brace myself for the recoil and aim for the tires. Clipping one and shooting through the windshield, the SUV veers off and rolls, once, and then twice.?

“Fuck yea, bitches.” I yell.?

“Faster, Dario. Spade got one, but there’s two more.” Jay yells.?

“Do we have anything more powerful than one AK? Because these pistols ain’t cutting it, and we need them off our tail. We can’t lead them to the house, there won’t be enough time to get in. Even with Triple A’s help.” Jade states. Bullets spray the sides of the truck as they gain on us.?

“Fuck, I’m out,” Jay growls, rolling the window up.?

“In the trunk. Lift the floorboard.” Ri shouts. Jade does what he says, and I continue to spray the incoming trucks and running out of ammo fast.?

“What the fuck, Dario? Where did you get this? I’m the only one on the east coast that can get this and distribute it!” Jade yells, narrowing her eyes at him.

“There’s a lot you don’t know about me, Kitten. Now, do you know how to use it?” he asks with a smirk.

“Dario, where did you get it? There is only one person I sell these too, and he’s— No fucking way, you’re the mystery man?” she asks with wide eyes. He says nothing, just smirks at her.?

“For fuck’s sake,” she shakes her head. “Yes, I know how to use it, asshole.” She snaps.?

“Well, load her up and blast those mother fuckers, my little minx.” He winks at her, and she blushes, removing two grenade launchers and handing one to me. She pushes the revolver latch, releasing the cylinder, rotating it, and loading it with ammo. Once filled, she snaps it back into place. My dick is so fucking hard watching her in action. She places it down and does the same with the next launcher. Her eyes connect with mine and she grins. I fucking love this girl. Before I think better of it, I grab her face, moving a stray hair from her cheek and tuck it behind her ear. I fuse our lips together, our tongues swirling. She moans as I pull away.?

“I love you, Babygirl. Let’s blow some shit up,” I grin. Before I can grab the launcher, she cups my face and whispers.?

“I love you too, Reid. Always. Let’s kill these motherfuckers.” She places a gentle kiss on my lips and we both pick up the launchers. We are almost at the gates when we see they are closed. Fuck.

“Rio, I need you to give us some distance and don’t fucking stop or we are going to blow ourselves up with them.” Jade says, giving him a wink. He nods.

“Make my dick hard, why don’t ya, Kitten,” he grins.?

“For the love of God will you all stop eye fucking each other and blow these fuckers up already.” Jay sneers. He’s such a moody fucker.?

“Run those gates Ri, fuck it. The truck can withstand the impact.” I demand. He nods, pressing down on the gas, giving us some breathing room. I look over at Jade, who’s rolling the window down getting into position.?

“You ready Babygirl?” I say, she nods. I get back into position, hanging half my body from the window.

“In 3…2…1…GO!” I yell. We both take aim.

BOOM…BOOM…BOOM!?

Jade sends three shots off, hitting their mark. The first SUV blows up right on impact, sending shards flying into the air. She gets back in, and I send my shots to the last SUV, as they try to shoot out our tires. I send one to the ground and one high, hitting the roof. The floor grenade blows, sending the truck flying into the air, nearly hitting us, and the second goes off, flipping the bitch completely over. I send off one more completely exploding the truck on impact. I climb back in and take a deep breath as Ri sends us straight through the Academy gates and whirling us onto the road. Jade flies into my lap from the sudden turn. I swear, Ri can’t drive for shit.?

“Should have let me drive, dickhead.” I laugh.?

“Shut up. I’m doing my best. Your head didn’t get blown off while I was trying to divert the bullets, so give me a fucking break, Reid.” He retorts. I shake my head because he’s half right but still. I’m the better driver and he knows it. I feel Jade take a deep breath, knowing this is just the beginning.?

“Something’s not right. I sent an SOS text to my father, and I have heard nothing.” She says with a worried look on her face.?

“I’m sure he’s fine. Maybe he’s at the hospital with Ryker. You know that place has barely any cell service.” I whisper, trying to reassure her.?

“Yeah, you’re right. I’ll give it some time.” She says as her hands shake.?

“What’s the plan once we get to the house?” I ask.?

“We suit up and wait. It won’t be long until they come and this time, we will be ready for them.” Jay says with a sinister smile.?

“I guess we are turning my house into a war zone. The dogs will protect me as well. At least we have them for help.” Jade adds.?

“Fuck yeah, they will. They were made for this moment.” I say, giving her a squeeze.?
