Then Antonio turns to me and waggles his eyebrows.

I can translate: Why aren’t you undressing?

Even tied and gagged, Antonio is so expressive that he’s saying the most in this room.

He’s a serious power bottom.

Kai rests his strong hand on my shoulder. “Let’s take this dress off, Your Highness.”

I nod.

My skin tingles, as he unzips the back of the dress so slowly that I moan at the tantalizing tease. Then he edges his fingers under the material and across my bare skin.

I melt against him, and he slides one hand to my throat. He doesn’t squeeze but dominantly holds me in place, as he pushes my dress off my shoulders.

My pulse is racing, and I squeeze my thighs together, as my core throbs.

Kai yanks me harder against his hard chest. He runs his hand down my stomach, stroking his fingers over the edge where my lace panties meet the skin of my stomach.

I’m desperate for him to dip lower, but he doesn’t.

Lark is now naked and climbs onto the bed with a fluid grace. He straddles Antonio, settling over his hips and deliberately wriggling over Antonio’s hard dick tormentingly.

“Problem?” He says, sweetly.

Antonio scowls.

Lark eases the scarf out of Antonio’s mouth, and Antonio wets his lips. “Now you can talk and do fun things like this.”

He presses his lips to Antonio’s, passionately.

Then Lark yips and draws back, wiping at his mouth. “Did you just bite me, pup?”

“Nipped.” Antonio looks smug. “I am the fiercest fighter, Your Highness.”

“Brat,” Lark snarls. “What shall I do with you?”

“Well, you do have me at your mercy…” Antonio looks hopeful.

Lark snatches him by his silver curls. “I’ve always wanted to ride a wild Beta.”

But then, he kisses Antonio again, and this time, it’s soft and tender.

Finally, Lark sits back, glancing between us.

The candlelight makes him look ethereal. His long black hair falls down his pale shoulders.

“Even with all the pain and suffering in my life,” Lark says, quietly, “and the agony of a broken bond, I can’t regret any of it because it led me here.” He looks over at me, and the intensity of his gaze is shattering. “Mercy, you’re my scent match. Finding you, put the shattered shards of my heart together. I could have happily lived with only you, a pack of two, forever. I need you like the air in my lungs. It’s you who gave me the courage to trust the rest of this pack. To trust that we deserved this new family. It makes me wonder, if we both survived everything because we’re a scent matched pair of Broks. And I may only be a Non-Heat now, who truly has lost my heats because of my ex-Alpha’s cruelty…”

My heart breaks for him, when he slumps, resting his hands on Antonio’s chest.

Antonio fidgets like he wishes that he could comfort him.

Gabriel sits up and rests his hand on Lark’s back.

Lark wasn’t lucky like me.

Broken Bond Syndrome damaged his ability to have heats or at least, it appears to be the case. I’m holding onto the hope that he will but he hasn’t yet.
