“Role play with gorgeous Alphas and a Beta who deserves a reward?” Lark cocks his head, as if thinking. “It would be rude not to.”

Well, if it’s only polite…

I knock on the door.

Then I listen to the heavy footfalls, before the door’s wrenched open by Kai.

He’s standing regally in a suit that I’ve never seen before. It’s gray tartan with over-checks of red and black.

He’s wearing a royal, rich scarlet cape that’s thrown over one shoulder and an aristocratic expression.

He’s never looked more like a Scottish prince.

My mouth becomes dry.

I want to drop to my knees but only because I want to suck at what’s beneath his kilt.

Yeah, he’s wearing a kilt.

This is already better than any treat that I’d been expecting.

Lark appears frozen with shock.

Until he wets his lips. “Are the stories true? Are you commando beneath that kilt?”

Kai crosses his arms. “Aye, I’m a true Scotsman. How else would I prove my toughness as your Alpha warrior?”

“I’ll go commando tomorrow and claim that it’s because I’m a badass.” Lark smirks.

“Promise?” I run my hand down Lark’s arm, and he shivers. Then I realize what Kai said. “You’re our Alpha warrior?”

“Of course, princess,” Kai’s reply is deep and rumbling, and makes my stomach fluttery. “You’re my two royal Omegas. And I have gifts for you both inside in tribute.”

This is going to be fun.

Kai has been more creative with roleplay than I’d been expecting.

Although, he’s never as rough as Gabriel and Antonio play.

Lark hugs his arms around my waist, energized. He’d been exhausted only moments before, after settling Millie.

It does my Soul good to see that an Alpha no longer makes Lark either wary or anxious but can fill him with desire.

Lark purrs, deep and rumbling.

He nuzzles against my neck.

I purr in return.

We rest our foreheads against each other.

“I love you, cupcake,” Lark murmurs.

“I love you, songbird.” I kiss him tenderly.

This moment is just for us.

Yet together, two Broks, we’ve found a pack, family, and home.
