Jackson’s lips twitch into an almost smile. They’ve been doing that a lot over this last month, since he won the Alpha Cup, we exposed Roarke and Sydney, then moved together to live in a hotel, until the legal side of things was sorted out.
Jackson’s wearing a stylish caramel suit with a matching tie. He looks relaxed and happy in a way that makes my heart soar.
He blushes. “I think it’s quite clear by now that I was obsessed with two things for a long time. Snow Bunny and you. Aren’t I lucky that it turns out that you’re the Snow Bunny? Now, I get to kiss you both.”
Jackson stalks to my side, stealing my breath, as he pins me against the window. He rests his hand against my throat, gently stroking against his bond mark on my neck.
My skin tingles.
Then he lowers his plush lips to mine and kisses me like it’s the first time.
Our tongues dance, and I sigh into the kiss.
My back is warm against the glass.
I luxuriate in the sensations from my bond mark, tingling skin, and the way that he’s melting me with his kiss.
Then he draws back, pinning me with his gaze, instead. “Are you happy?”
I realize with a jolt that he’s serious.
It matters to him that I like this house.
A deep rumbling purr starts up deep inside me, as I feel driven to reassure my Alpha. I nuzzle under his chin, and the tension in his shoulders relax.
Omegas actually have a lot of power.
We can soothe, enrage, excite or break Alphas with our pheromones.
Now, I nibble on Jackson’s neck, while flooding the room with my calming scent.
“I’m happy,” I reply. “I love the house. It’s perfect.”
Jackson glances over his shoulder at Zev, who immediately walks to join us at the window, resting his hand on Jackson’s shoulder.
“This is my first real home,” Jackson explains. “I don’t blame my biological mom, who gave me up, when I was too young to remember it. I don’t know what she was going through or how desperate she was. Perhaps, she was forced to. I don’t know. My adoptive family never offered me a true home. Then even that was ripped away from me. Now, I have a chance to make a real home, and I don’t want to fuck it up.”
“You won’t.” My eyes gleam with tears. “You gave everything to make this happen.”
“And you have us now.” Zev squeezes Jackson’s shoulder. “We’re all going to fuck up at some point but we’ll be together, and that’s what matters.”
Asher looks down. “I haven’t had a house that I call home in a long time. But wherever you guys are, well, that’s home for me.”
Jackson looks around at us. “I’m a lucky Alpha.”
“Damn straight.” I grin, before poking him in the side and pointing out of the window. “What are all those buildings?”
Asher’s eyes light up and he bounces on the balls of his feet. “Wait, have you installed a kinky sex dungeon, babe? I’m impressed.”
“I don’t need a dungeon to tie you up,” Jackson growls, and fuck, if that image doesn’t make me wet enough to wish that I’d worn panties today. It’s our moving day, after all. I’m hoping to christen every room in the house and that means easy access. I’m good at planning like that. “You already came this morning in our sweet Ice’s ass. I’d have thought that you didn’t need to think with your dick.”
Asher smirks. “When Ice is in the room, I’m always thinking with my dick.”
It makes me shiver every time that he calls me Ice.
From the moment that I threw off my Puck costume on the night of the finals, I haven’t been called Puck.
I feel like a person again.
