air,” I say as I walk to the bedroom to get some clothes.

I really hope she has some peanut butter cookies

We finally make it to his parents house and there were so

many people here. Well not that many but I wasn’t expecting

anyone else but his parents. To the right is the dining room

and there are four men around the table playing poker. There

are some women on the couch around my age, laughing and

talking. It’s such a warm feeling. I hope to have this one day.

Vince grabs my hand, “I want to introduce you to my

Ma first. She’s in the kitchen.”

I follow Vince to the kitchen and I smell the peanut

butter. My mouth is already watering.

“Hey ma,” His voice is so low and sweet. She turns

around and wipes her hands on her apron. “Mi Mijo!” She

wraps him in a hug around her waist. He’s about two feet

taller than him. He places a soft kiss on her check.

She glances at me, “Is this Emma? God Vincent she is

gorgeous!” I blush as she takes my hands saying “Welcome

to the family! I hope he’s treating you good! If not, let me

know and I’ll stick my foot in his ass!”
