my coat and I yell back to the kitchen “Bye Ma! See you

Ma runs her hands down her apron and runs to the

dining room with a plate. “Here take these home to Emma!

I’m sure she needs something sweet other than you!” She

says as she kisses my checks.

“Thanks Ma! You’re the best'' I say as I walk out the

door. I get in the car and I place the plate in the passenger
