“All right,” I said finally. “I’ll let you go. I’m sorry for
waking you up.”

As Marco closes the door behind me, my mind races with
questions. Who could this woman be? Why did they hurt
her like that? The same questions keep repeating in my
mind. But, most importantly - how could I make sure
something like this never happened again?
I pace around outside of Marco’s house for a few minutes
before deciding to head over to Pops’ old office. Maybe
there would be something there that would give me a clue
about what was going on with these traffickers.

“Vince, what are you doing here, " Pop asks, sitting his
bag down.

“I find peace here and I was just trying to find more
about Ian. You still had some old files here,”
“I knew Ian was a scum the moment I met him, but I try to
give everyone a chance,” pops says as his phone dings.
Then he looks up at me and smiles.
“Vince! We found her!” Pops hollers excitedly.
“What? Who?
“The girl you found! She’s in the hospital! Her name is
Emma!”

“Which hospital?” I say as I grab my keys to head out the
door.
“She’s at County. Vincent, don't do anything stupid.” Pops
says.
