“Both?” I replied.

He chuckled, dropped to his knees, kissed my stomach since that was where his head was level with, and leaned down to lick me.

I moaned and leaned my head back against the tile, the coolness a stunning opposite to the heat in my lower body.

Branson wrapped his hands around my hips, gripped my butt, and plunged his tongue into me.

“Yes!” I screamed.

Dropping his hands from my butt, he reached up with one to pinch and pull one of my nipples, the second hand dropped and he inserted two fingers into me while he licked my clit, his tongue swirling around and sucking.

His tongue and fingers matched pace and the faster his fingers and tongue moved, the quicker the pressure built before I screamed, grabbed his hair, and shattered.

My release dripped down my legs and his hand and he licked until my legs wobbled and I could barely keep myself up. Standing, he grabbed me by the butt, lifted me, pressed me against the tile, and pressed the tip of his erection against my entrance. “Was that good, Ember?”

I nodded, my heart pounding so fast it felt like a hummingbird’s.

He pushed into me slowly, letting my body stretch and adjust to his girth. He held still once fully inside of me and looked into my eyes. “You are truly beautiful, Ember. I feel lucky to even exist in the same realm as you, but being connected to you, our bodies connected as one like this. There’s no greater joy.”

Tears sprung to my eyes, but they were quickly gone as he thrust in and out of me. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling myself forward to lick and kiss his neck.

He moaned and thrust harder and faster into me.

Nibbling my way down his neck to his collarbone, I sucked hard on one spot before resuming my nibbling.

Branson moaned, “Fuck,” and thrust harder and deeper, making me orgasm in less than a dozen strokes.

Since he’d seemed to like it, I sucked on the same spot on his collar bone.

He roared my name as he thrust into me, but quickly pulled out as he came.

“Well, this was definitely a great morning so far,” I breathed as he set me back on my feet.

We washed quickly and after I changed, we prepared to head to his apartment so he could dress and we could make breakfast.

Carrying his clothes, he walked down the hallway to the elevator with just a towel around his waist.

“Good thing it’s only our pack that lives here,” I joked.

He scoffed. “You think I’d be embarrassed walking out in public while everyone knew I’d just slept with a stunning woman like you?” He shook his head. “I may be private about things, but I am definitely not embarrassed.”

He sadly got dressed when we got to his apartment, but at least had on a tank top so I could ogle his arms and shoulders.

“How are you feeling about all this change?” I asked while I watched him scrambling eggs. I’d offered to help and he had declined, asking me to sit on a stool at the island instead. “You were going to go off and start your new life, your new plan, before he came back to help me.

“There hadn’t really been a plan after I woke up at your cabin, honestly. Plus, the longer I spent with you, the more I didn’t want to leave. I’d decided to leave because you ignored us trying to protect you and I thought you were confirming my belief that you weren’t interested in me that way. Looking back, I realize that I had been keeping you at arm’s length because I’d been scared to actually let you in or to get rejected by you. Kieran and I had left, but I’d hated being separated from you. The pain grew and then I sensed something was wrong and raced back as fast as I could.” He sighed. “If I’d really thought about it and understood you just weren’t used to depending on others and was doing the same thing as me, it would have helped, but hindsight is twenty-twenty, right?”

“And now?” I asked, staying completely still in case it might break the trance and he’d stop sharing.

“I can tell Caleb is our leader, our alpha. Being with this pack feels like I finally found the place I belong. Helping Dan and the werewolves solidifies that even more. This is where I’m supposed to be.” He raised his eyes. “With them and with you.”

“Even if that means dealing with reports and paparazzi?” I asked.

He sighed and shook his head in disgust. “Yes, even then.” Setting the plate of scrambled eggs and bacon before me he said, “I’m pretty sure there’s nothing you could do or ask of me that I would deny.”

He sat on the barstool beside me, his plate of bacon and eggs twice as large as mine.

“So, I could steal a piece of your bacon and you wouldn’t get mad?” I asked and reached towards one of the two strips he had.
