“And I’ll keep nothing from you again.” He plants more kisses all around my face, my neck, my head. “I promise to never hurt you again.”

“Stop,” I plead. “You’re making me dizzy.”

He grins, pulling me to him as I wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him closer and claiming his lips for myself. He pulls back from me, and I whimper. “But don’t make me stalk you again.”

“Again?”

He grins. “I’ve been infatuated with you for months. Watched as you got your coffee. Watched…”

I press a kiss against his lips to stop him from talking.

He presses his forehead against mine. “Can I take you home?” he asks.

I nod.

He puts his hands on my hips and drags me closer to him. His nose nuzzles between my breasts, and I’m embracing the sight of knowing how much he craves me.

“I’ve been deprived of you for three long days. During that time, I knew you’re the only thing I needed in my life. I missed you so much. I don’t think I could find the air to live another day without you,” he says, his eyes flicking up to see me.

I smile. “I missed you too, Harrison.”

He raises his lips to mine and grins. “Did that sound weird?”

I laugh. “You seem more like a Harrison than a Killian.”

“Don’t knock it. I may become Killian again whenever I need to feel confident.”

“Confident,” I repeat.

“I kissed you that day because of Killian.”

I arch my eyebrows and smile. “Maybe I wouldn’t mind if Killian came to play now and again. Especially if Harrison is being bossy at work.”

“Ah, you’re planning on seeing my alter ego behind my back,” he murmurs, his voice dripping with lust.

“I think it’s only fair. He got us together.”

He grins at me and pulls me closer to him. “That might be the case, and he did a good job, but now it’s just you and me,” he says. “And I don’t share. And when I told you were mine, I meant it.”

I grin at his words. Harrison sounds so masculine and confident. He’s changed so much in the short time we’ve known each other, and I know I no longer need Killian.

“Are you coming home?” he asks, his eyes waiting expectantly.

Taking his face in my hands, I stare into his eyes and murmur, “you are my home.”

I read the article again and smile as I watch the departure gate, waiting for the airline to call the passengers onto the plane.
