Page 70 of Royal

I step back and admire my handy word. Sabrina is now unconscious, and I’m done with this bitch.

Royal walks to me. “Done?”

“Almost, it’s time to end her.”

Royal searches my face. “You don’t have to finish the job. I can.”

River steps up to the both of us. “I will do it as the president’s ole lady.” Gage hands her a gun. “Unless you want to do the honors?”

“I don’t care as long as she is dead.” And it’s the truth, I got to hurt her for everything she has done to my family.

Selene and Donna have been beaten to shit, not as severely as I have done to Sabrina but pretty close, and all three of them are unconscious right now.

“Got any adrenaline?” River asks Reaper. He smirks and opens a small drawer, handing her three shots.

She stabs the three unconscious women hard with the needle, and within seconds they’re wide awake. Sabrina tries to scream but her tongue is gone, so she can only make a moaning noise.

Selene and Donna are silent. “It’s time for you girls to be sent to hell for your actions.”

They’re lowered to the ground onto their knees, facing River, looking up at her.

I hold my breath. Without hesitation, River pulls the trigger. One by one, they fall and hit the ground, dead, a bullet placed perfectly in the center of their foreheads.

Just like that, it’s over. Neither of these women can hurt another person, and no one will remember them or look for them. It’s like they never even existed.

There is a clock on the wall that reads eight o’clock. I can see the change in Royal and the rest of the guys because they know it’s their turn.

“Angel.” He cups my face gently. “Do you want to stay or go?”

I look at Twister. “I want to go home and get our babies, so they sleep in their beds.”

He smiles, kissing me. I managed to not get one speck of blood on me during all of this. My brother walks over to me once Royal lets me go, hugging me. “I think I’m terrified of you now, sis,” he tells me, and I laugh.

“Shit, like I don’t know you’ve done worse?”

He looks at Royal, betrayed. “Did you fucking tell?”

Royal turns to the side, pretending he didn’t hear him, and I laugh. Shane has amusement in his eyes, so I know he’s not too mad.

“You need me to go with you?” Royal asks me.

“Nah, I will snuggle with the kids and wait for you in bed.” I wink at him, wanting him to get the hint. Trust me, I will be waiting for him. “All of this violence has turned me on.” This I whisper in his ear so only he can hear.

His eyes dilate at my confession, kissing me hard one last time before the girls and I make our way up the stairs, the basement door shutting hard behind us, the sounds inside quieting.

“I don’t know about you, but I’m hungry,” Julia says, going to the kitchen of the clubhouse.

“You know, I could eat too.” I follow her to the kitchen, finding some leftover pizza that we heat. We wash our hands and sit in silence while we eat.

We all look at each other from the corner of our eyes. “We are all fucked up. We just tortured some bitches, and now we’re eating pizza like nothing happened,” Nicole says, and we all laugh.

“Normal is overrated anyway,” I pitch in.

“That’s why we’re ole ladies to the Rebels. You’re all meant to be here,” River tells us, and we all stand up to hug each other. Somehow, someway, this has brought us closer together.

“Hey, my pizza.” We all look at Meghan and see her smashed between River and Andrea with her pizza in her hand.

We all laugh again, and I finish eating. “I’m going home to my babies.” I take Royal’s truck and go straight to Daniella’s while I devise an excuse for why my face looks like this.
