Always Forever(Val & Lorenzo)

They say I’m not like the other mafia bosses.

But they hadn’t seen what I’d do to haveher.

Valerina was mine.

Then she was a ghost.

My first and only love was nothing but a stranger made of ink, secrets, and heartbreak.

When we started as pen pals we were nothing but kids, sweet and innocent.

The older we got the less innocent the letters were.

And then they stopped.

But half a decade later, I’ve found her and I won’t let her go.

Afterall, we were always meant to be forever.

Never Forever(Isabella, Tiago, & Javier)

I’ll never be forever.

No one wants to keep the Accardi Bastard. I’m good for a good time and that’s it.

It’s exactly why Javier Jaminez forced my cousin into signing me over to him.

He wants to use me until there’s nothing left, him and his right hand man, Santiago.

Little do they know I won’t go down without a fight, because I’m going to change the rules of their games.

Maybe I’ll never be someone’s forever, but I’ll make sure they always remember me.

DOUBLE CROSS MY HEART

PROLOGUE: RIAN

There's nothing like stealing from the rich.

I’d be a liar if I said I don’t steal from the poor because I’m a good person. It's solely because stealing from rich people typically offers me a bigger payout.

My quick hands for their kingdom.

And tonight’s heist is swiftly going to the top of my list of jobs.

I look around at all the people in their posh clothes, men in sleek tuxedos and suits, women in ballgowns so damn outdated not even Marie Antoinette would have worn them.

My own ball gown is a much more modern take with its bright, flashy jewels and emerald fabric that fans out at my waist, a great way to disguise and hide my favorite weapons, holstered from my ankle to my hip.

You can never be too prepared.

The thin straps of my dress leave most of my shoulders and chest on display.

A little old lady with fried, blonde hair, and weathered skin by the wine table had turned her nose up at my outfit the second I’d walked in. I’d simply smiled at her as I slipped by thirty minutes later, her clutch in my hands.

The old snooze only had a pearl necklace and a diamond ring in her purse. In any other case, it’d barely be enough for me to blink at, but I couldn’t let her snootiness go without punishment. Or rather her racism, because I’m pretty sure her frown was more for my brown skin and black and red box braids than my slightly revealing dress.
