He was right. I’d gone from meeting my adversaries to sleeping with two of them.

It means nothing, I thought to myself, closing my eyes. It felt amazing to hand over my body to them but they’d have to prove themselves if they wanted to touch my heart.

I woke up to the smell of coffee and sugary donuts. Blinking my eyes open, I stared up at an unfamiliar ceiling.

Last night’s memories rushed in, reminding me of the hot, sweaty sex with Caleb and Corey.

I stretched my legs under the sheets, liking the way the silky fabric rustled against my smooth skin. My pussy felt sore but it made me smile.

I couldn’t believe they broke through my defenses again.

It felt as if the five years in between hadn’t existed at all and we were picking up where we left. A part of me yearned to believe we were meant to be together but I was still scared to even consider a scenario like that.

While I enjoyed handing over my body to them, I was still wary about giving them my heart.

The sound of approaching footsteps alerted me. Sitting up, I quickly grabbed the ends of the blanket and pulled them up to my chin.

“Hey, lovely,” said Corey, flashing me a smile that made my heart beat harder in my chest.

“Hi,” I said, feeling warmth spreading through me.

Corey’s face brightened. “Are you hungry? We’ve got breakfast.” As if a sudden thought came to him, his expression turned anxious. “Are you feeling okay, Milla? Do you want us to get you anything?”

Surprise flitted through me. He was treating me like I was made of spun glass. At least, they’re making an effort, I thought amusedly.

“I just need a shower,” I said, climbing off the bed.

The long sheet I was holding onto my chest wrapped around my legs and suddenly, I was falling face forward to the ground.

Strong arms wrapped around my waist, hauling me back to my feet.

Strands of blond hair fell all over my face as I struggled to get my balance. Heart pounding, I looked up at Corey through the gaps in my unruly locks.

“There’s no need to cover up,” he said in a deep baritone that reverberated through me, igniting a hot spark deep in my belly. “It’s just us here.”

Reaching out, he moved away the strands of hair falling over my eyes. “You’re still so beautiful, Milla.”

As if in a trance, I stayed still in his hold as he leaned in to capture my lips.

A moan nearly escaped me as his lips seared mine, sending heat shooting through my veins. My body pressed against his, eager to feel his hard friction against my throbbing pussy.

His lips molded into a grin against mine. His arms locked around me tighter, pulling me closer until my breasts were crushed against his rock-hard chest.

I’d missed feeling this overconsuming heat spreading through every inch of my body. As Corey’s tongue swirled over mine, I searched for guilt and shame.

There was none.

Unlike last time, Corey and Caleb didn’t force me into being with them. True, they seduced me, but it was solely my decision to spend the night with them.

Corey’s fingers slipped into my hair, gently cupping the back of my head so he could continue to kiss me deeply.

I was breathless by the time we finished.

Corey’s green eyes glittered as a smug, mischievous grin spread on his lips.
