She didn’t react straight away, so I just waited.

Finally, she whispered, “It wasn’t one person.It was everyone.Kids at school, ex-boyfriends, even women who wanted to join my gym.There’s a change slowly happening in the community.A respect for strength, but most men just want skinny.I’m never going to be that.I don’t want to be.I like my curves.”

She squealed as I pushed her back, and scrambled out of the covers, waking Leo in the process.“I have to open the gym.”

She grabbed some clothes out of the drawers beside the bed and began tugging on sportswear including black leggings and a tank top.

Leo groaned and stretched loudly.“Good morning, beautiful.Damn, I slept well.This mattress is amazing.”

“It wasn’t the mattress.”I muttered, my balls turning blue with no release in sight.

Tania raced to the door, then turned back.“If you guys wait here for a bit, I’ll come back and get you some breakfast.”

I glanced at the clock.“We’ll stay as long as we can.”

She smiled, and the look on her face lit me up from the inside.“Okay, great.”Then she ran off downstairs.

I reached for the lamp and flicked it on, turning to my brother who was still looking dopey as hell.“Did you hear any of that stuff we were talking about?”

Leo turned his head to me and flicked an eyebrow up.“You were talking?”

I huffed out a laugh.“Seriously, mate.You can sleep through anything.”

Leo rolled out of bed and staggered to the bathroom.“Yeah, anything except our mate leaving the bed.It got cold the minute she left.”

I rolled onto my back and nodded my head though he couldn’t see it, but I agreed.There was no way I was going back to sleeping alone after feeling the difference of sleeping next to my mate.

This morning I felt settled, but strong.Ready to take on the world.

When Leo came back out, he grabbed his jeans and pulled them on.“What were you talking about?”
