“Thanks, gorgeous.” The elevator opens.
I guide her in, my hand staying on her hip. She’s so damn soft. It takes all my control to not grip her tighter, but I don’t want to spook her. I’ve gotten further than I thought I would tonight. The drinks helped.
I don’t think she meant to drink as much as she did. She’s let her guard down with me, and I plan on using it to my advantage to get to spend time with her.
“In Fifty Shades of Grey, he fingered her in the elevator,” Ace whispers even though we’re alone in the small space.
“Is that an invitation?” I’m not surprised often, but she is the exception to the rule. She might get all dolled up and put on a dress too tiny for my liking in public, but there is still a shyness to her. I could see it each time I brushed my leg against hers under the table.
“Oh.” Her eyes widen, her cheeks turning a rosy pink. I want to kiss them. The fuck? When have I ever wanted to kiss a woman’s cheek? This isn’t junior high. “I was just gonna ask how? Don’t they all have cameras?”
“I’d make sure no one saw.” I grip her chin, dragging her attention back to me and not looking for said cameras. “I don’t share.” I want to be crystal clear with her. She’s mine, she just doesn’t know it yet.
“So does that mean there’ll be no taking food off your plate?” I bark a laugh. She keeps making me do that. “Wait. You're talking about women.”
“No.” I shake my head as I lean down, my hand still holding her chin so she can’t escape me. Not that she’s trying. “I meant you.”
“Oh.” Her eyes flutter as I clear the few inches between our mouths.
I groan the second our lips meet. The taste of her consuming me. Ace melts into me. Her fingers dig into my shirt. I nip her bottom lip, making her lips part for me. Like the greedy bastard I am, I slip my tongue into her mouth, needing more of her. Wanting every single morsel that she’ll give me.
Tart cranberry mixed with a sweetness I know is all her fills me. I slip my hand down to rest on the bare skin of her throat, still keeping a firm hold on her so she can’t run from me again. The thought alone has my hold tightening. I can feel her pulse racing there.
“Bo.” She whimpers my name. I lift my head to stare down at her. Her lips are fuller now from our kissing. “You kissed me.” She touches her lips.
“I did.” I want to tell her that I’ll be doing a lot more than that in the future, but I hold back, not wanting to scare her away.
“Well…” She licks her lips. “Who said you could do that?”
“I did.”
“It was my first.”
Fuck me. I’m already painfully hard. Her mouth is sending any remaining blood I have to make me even harder. Blue balls is a real fucking thing, I’m quickly finding out. This woman is doing something to me that I didn’t think was possible. Awakening all sorts of feelings inside of me.
“Come on, gorgeous. I want to get some food for you.” I lead her off the elevator and straight into my suite.
“This isn’t a restaurant.”
“It’s not. I keep a place here.” I guide her toward the table. I see Noah with two staff members laying out everything.
“Like you always have it?” Her nose scrunches, and I know she’s not a fan of this. I quickly realize the implications that could mean in her mind.
“I keep a place close for my work.”
“And what is it that you do?” Ace keeps herself tucked into me. I don’t think she’s noticed there are people across the room from us.
“Take people's money.” She snorts a laugh.
“Me too. I won’t tell if you don’t.”
“Your secrets are safe with me, Ace,” I promise her. My Ace doesn’t know that she’ll never be safe from me.

ELSA (ACE)
My head is pounding, and I know if I open my eyes that it’s only going to get worse. That’s what I get for having a few drinks. I know better, but… my eyes fly open as the memory of Bo comes rushing back to me.
