“No, I honestly was just looking around. As many times as I have driven past this place, I didn’t notice it before.”

“Yeah, it's easy to miss. If you need any help with anything, let me know.”

He looks at me for a beat then says “Okay thank you Elise.” He turns around and walks a few steps toward our game section, then turns back to face me, “Are you and your friend doing anything this weekend? I am having a small get together at my apartment Saturday night. If you two aren't busy, you should come.”

I think about it for a few minutes. I know what he's insinuating, and I would be interested in having a repeat. I am not so sure about Caleigh though. We still need to talk tonight. “I’ll have to ask her tonight when I see her. I am free this weekend, but I am not sure what she has going on.” I pull my phone out of my pocket and hand it to him. “Here, put your number in my contacts and I will let you know.”

He grabs my phone and punches in his information then hands it back. “Okay sounds good. I hope you can make it.”

It’s almost 9 pm when I hear the front door open. I wait a few minutes before I walk into the living area. Caleigh is placing what looks like takeout on the counter. She turns and says “Hey, I picked us up some tacos.” She smiles as I walk towards her and the food. I pick up a box, opening the lid to take a peek at what's inside.

“Thank you. Are you ready to have that talk yet? It has been driving me crazy not spending time with you the last couple of days. I just want to move past this.”

She grabs the other box of food, “Yeah let's talk, but can we do it while we eat? I am starving.” I smile and nod my head. We decide to sit on the floor in front of the couch, with the chips and queso in between us. “So, El… I am sorry for making you wait this long. I just needed to get my thoughts together.” She takes a bite of her food then continues, “I was really hurt when I found out that you brought Nick back here after everything. But I meant what I said when I told him you are mine,” She side-eyes me and I try my best to hold back my smile. “That is if you will still have me?” I go to speak and she cuts me off, “I know I asked you a question but I have a few more things I need to say before you answer. You have been my best friend forever, and I never would have thought that I would fall for you. I had never been attracted to women before you. So, this is new for me and I know it's probably new for you unless you have been hiding it from me all this time?”

I shake my head and laugh “No, this is new for me too.”

She continues, “Alright, so if you want to do this, I just need you to promise me we will communicate better. I am not scared to let people know we are together. I will go up and shout from the rooftop right now that you are mine. I just need to know that you feel the same way. I also do not want you talking to Nick ever again. Do I make myself clear?”

I nod my head vigorously, “Yes. I understand. I missed you so much Caleigh. I love you and I want this with you. I agree we need to work on our communication skills.” We both laugh. She leans over and brushes her lips against mine.

“Good. I missed you and love you too, El. I don’t want to go that long without you in my arms ever again.”

Caleigh

As we finish up our dinner and clean our mess up El says “Oh, by the way… I ran into Damon today. Literally ran smack into him at the bookstore.” She laughs.

I am confused for a few minutes until it clicks, “Oh! Damon from the party, Damon. What was he doing in the store?”

She side-eyes me “What does anyone who comes into the bookstore do?”

I laugh, “Ha-Ha smartass. How is he doing?”

She’s wiping down the counters and says “I guess good. He didn’t say otherwise. He did ask us to come over to his place this Saturday for a small get together. Do you want to go?” I know what that is code for. He wants to have a good time again.

“I don’t have anything going on. I don’t see why we couldn’t go. Unless, you wouldn’t want to do that again?”

She grabs my hand and pulls me towards her bedroom, “I wouldn’t mind going. We could have some more fun. Plus, I enjoy someone else watching us together and joining in.” I smile and plop down on her bed. She starts to take her shirt off and head to the bathroom.

“Okay, yeah let's do it. Do we need to bring anything?” I say walking after her.

“I am not sure. When I text him to let him know we will be coming, I’ll ask.” I nod my head and she continues “I am going to take a shower; do you want to join me?” I watch as she starts to strip the rest of her clothes off, and I quickly follow her lead.

Last night after our shower, she decided to crawl into my bed so we could watch reruns of One Tree Hill until we passed out. I haven’t slept that good since the last time we fell asleep together. I am glad we made up because I missed her so much and hated the tension between us.

Now, we are sitting down at the coffee shop eating breakfast together before heading to work. “Did you text Damon and tell him we would be coming over this weekend?” I ask before taking a large bite of my breakfast burrito.

“Yep, I did. He sent the address and said to bring ourselves and whatever we want to drink.” I nod and finish chewing.

“Jose it is.” She smiles and takes a sip of her coffee.

Her hair is down and wavy today. She is wearing jeans and a tight fitting Between the Shelves shirt, with her chucks. Her plump lips are painted red and I get lost in my thoughts thinking about how much I love watching her devour my pussy.

“I’ll pick some up on my lunch break today.” She says pulling me out of my thoughts.

“Huh?” I say confused.

“The tequila. For Damons party. Are you okay?” She smirks.
