Even if it's with my ex.

Twenty minutes later we pull up to mine and Caleigh's apartment. Her car is still gone, so I guess she really is staying the night with Camden.

As I am trying to unlock the door, he pushes into me from behind. I can feel his hard length digging into my ass. We walk inside and I ask as I’m kicking my shoes off “Do you want a drink?”

He follows me to the kitchen. “Sure, I’ll have whatever you are having.” I grab some shot glasses, then go straight for the bottle of tequila in the freezer. He laughs out “Of course, I should have known.”

I smile at him. “It's my favorite.”

“How could I forget?” He grabs a lime out of the container that I laid out and the salt off the counter, squeezes a little bit in the crook of my neck. He then pours some salt over it so that it will stick. I face him and we throw our shots back. He grabs my waist and flattens his tongue on my neck, licking the mixture clean. My pussy throbs as I suck on my lime. But, when I close my eyes to try to enjoy it, all I see is Caleigh.

I quickly pull away. “I am sorry Nick, but I can’t do this.”

He looks at me with wide eyes. “Why not? I thought we were going to work on things?”

I shake my head “No, I never said that. But this was a mistake. I never should've brought you back here. Please leave.”

He backs up, looking at me pissed off. “Alright, El. I will leave, but this isn’t over. You will miss me and you will be wanting me back.” He walks towards the front door.

I slap my hand over my face, “You are wrong. I won’t. Just please go.” He leaves and I lock the door behind him.

I go to my bathroom to take a shower, washing him off of me. I feel dirty. Not the filthy kind of dirty, but the kind that feels like regret. I shouldn't have brought him back here.

Caleigh

I pull into the parking spot next to El’s car. As I am walking up the stairs, Nick is coming down. “What the fuck are you doing here?” I huff.

He rolls his eyes, “Don’t worry, Caleigh.” He says my name mockingly “I'm leaving.” He stops in front of me.

“Okay, but that didn’t answer my question, Nick.” I put my hands on my hips.

“I was trying to get Elise back. But it seems like she is hung up on whatever guy she is seeing.” Oh, he still thinks she's seeing a man. Not me. Which means she still hasn’t told him about me.

I nod my head “She’s not seeing a guy.” I say as I walk up the steps, passing him.

“And for the record, you will not be getting back with her. So, I suggest you stop wasting your time.” He laughs at me.

“Yes, I will. She'll realize that she misses me and come running back. Just give her time.”

It's now my turn to laugh. “See that's where you're wrong. She won’t. She may not have moved on with a guy, but she has moved on with me.”

His eyes bug out of his head. “I’m sorry, you are going to have to repeat that. I think I heard you wrong.” I turn away and start walking further up the stairs.

Over my shoulder I throw back at him, “No you heard me right. She's mine now. So, I suggest you leave her alone. If you come back here, I’m calling the cops.” I don’t give him enough time to answer, I'm already at our door.

I walk in and as I pass the kitchen, I see the bottle of Jose and shot glasses on the counter. Figures. What I want to know is why she brought him back here and why she is even talking to him again in the first place. We are not supposed to be bringing other people home. We had an agreement.

I walk down the hall and hear her shower running through the walls. I go and plop down on the bed to wait for her to get out. She thinks I was staying the night at Camden’s, so she will be shocked to see that I am home.

I sit here for what feels like forever, when I hear the shower cut off. I look down at the time on my phone and twenty minutes have passed. A few minutes later the door opens and as she walks out, she's adjusting her towel. She doesn’t notice me at first.

She finally lifts her head and stares straight at me, startled. “Jesus Caleigh, you scared the shit out of me.” She slaps her hand to her chest. “What are you doing home anyways? I thought you were staying with Camden.”

I don’t answer her and lean back on the bed with my elbows, “The real question is what was Nick doing coming down, as I was coming up?” I give her a don’t bullshit me look.

“It was a mistake. I shouldn’t have let him bring me home. I had too many drinks at Lana’s with Hallon. That lead to me asking him to come home with me, when he showed up wanting to talk.” She looks down at her feet.

“He said he was going to get back with you. I spoke with him.”
