I grinned at Mathieu as he looked back to Anchony for approval. Anchony stared at me as if trying to burn me with his eyes. But obviously, that didn’t work; he was assessing my threat. He nodded at Mathieu, and I knew that was my cue.

Out the side of my eye, I caught the sun’s rays reflecting off the barrel of a gun. Ducking, I turned as and pulled theGlocks from their holsters. I took the first shot as I wasn’t waiting for an invitation. The noise blew through the room with a mighty force. Blood splattered the once nice cream-colored wall behind him as the guard dropped. I felt a bullet blowing past my ear. Shifting, I fired again, I hit the other guard solidly in the chest, and he went down as I turned.

The window was no longer an option, and the young woman was hiding under her desk, which was a good option for her. I realized I would have to move back the way I came in. “Anchony, you know this wasn’t needed.” I spat as I ducked down and shot at the two other guards while moving for the door. I didn’t have time to make sure they went down as I needed to get out.

Anchony rose from his chair and turned to face me. “You know you’re not getting out of here alive,” he said, smirking as he raised his gun. I felt a burning sting as I slid backward through the door. The other two men who were at the elevator earlier were gone. With no time to waste, I couldn’t worry about them right now. I headed for the stairs as I could not take a chance on them being in the elevator.

Looking down at my arm, a trick of blood congealed through my jacket just below my shoulder. Jumping the last three steps, I kneeled as my feet hit the ground. To my left and the way out stood three more guards. I was sure it must be the two from the elevator, but I didn’t know where the other one came from.

Turning right, I quickly stepped through another frosted glass door. The room was filled with women in skimpy sportswear exercising. Towards the back, I noticed another glass door leading to the sidewalk. I was about halfway across the room when I heard Mathieu screaming for the women to get out of the way.

Glancing back, I knew there was only one way out. Holstering my one gun, I grabbed the woman next to me. As I turned, I held her before me as a shield. Walking backward, I kept the gun to her head.

Mathieu suddenly tucked away his gun, which was a bit confusing. Then I noticed a flicker of fear in his eyes, which I couldn’t quite understand either, but it wasn’t important. I needed to get away and would do what had to be done.

“Back off, Mathieu,” I shouted as I pulled her out the door with me onto the sidewalk.

“You have nowhere to go,” he replied, stepping out and raising his hands. “Just let her go, and we can talk about it.”

Glancing over my shoulder, I saw two guards coming closer from behind. “Don’t shoot,” Mathieu called to them as I turned by my car and moved to the driver's side.

“You don’t want to talk, just be honest,” I shouted back.

“Get the key from my pants pocket, honey,” I whispered to the woman. She was shaking but searched my pants pocket and pulled out the key. As her hands searched my pockets, I felt my insides making a quick turn. Not now, I thought, but it was instinct.

“Now press the button,” I whispered into her ear. Her touch, mixing with my adrenaline levels, sent a surge of electricity through my veins. This was new but felt good, it was a sensation I would like to follow up on once we got out of here.

I heard the lock snap and the engine turn on, “Open the door and get in.” I said as we stepped back slightly. She opened the door but pushed back when I tried to force her inside. “I will shoot you,” I said, pushing her forward harder. I felt my dick starting to throb, and for a second, I was a little distracted. Pushing her head down, I forced her in.

As she plummeted into the car, I saw Mathieu pull his gun again. Taking a wild shot, I jumped into the car with her. Mathieu grabbed his chest as we sped off. I was grateful for the bulletproof windows as the bullets coming our way simply got stuck or fell to the ground.

I never considered the need for child locks fitted to all the doors of my car. But now I understood why Ashan had insisted. It was a handy thing to have as I noticed her trying to open the door. The woman looked back, with tears streaking down her cheeks as we drove out of sight.

Taking a couple of quick turns and heading up and down some roads, I ensured we weren’t being followed. Not that I had seen them chasing after us. They were focused on Mathieu. But Ashan always cautioned that one could never be too careful. I glanced at the woman and noticed she had pushed herself up against the door.

She was short with a thin middle. But her breasts were surely the thing most men noticed first. I felt my temperature rise as I headed towards Sergei’s warehouse. Her blond hair, which had come loose in the struggle, was tied into an updo above her head. Strands of golden silk fell down her shoulders and back. She was alluring even though she wasn’t the kind of woman I would consider twice if I met her on the street.

She pushed some golden locks back from her face that were lying over her breasts. I couldn’t help the direction my mind suddenly took. I shook my head as we pulled up behind the warehouse. I slowed but didn’t stop. No, I must let her go, I tried convincing myself as my mind flooded with images of another nature.

My mind took some crazy turns as it headed down its own path. I imagined having her back at the yacht. She wasn’t wearing much, only some black lacy lingerie. Smiling to myself, I shook my head.

I drove on, and pulled into a dark alley not too far away, now parking the car. Turning the engine off, I turned in my seat and looked at her. She didn’t move, she sat frozen as I studied her.

Her face had a perfect, sleek contour with luscious lips and big hazel eyes, complimenting her beauty. The long blond strands of silk ran down her back, touching her amazingly firm ass. Moving back up, her middle appeared quite slim for the ample breasts she proudly displayed.

My fingers tingled as my desire for her rose within. Her outfit hugged her so tightly that every curve was visible. She became a distraction, but it was one I liked. Maybe I would hang on to her for just a bit longer.

Chapter 2 - Skyler

Why was he just sitting there staring? My day started out so well. I spent the morning in the park with Bunny, my Husky. After lunch, I should have returned home instead of going to the yoga studio. Then I wouldn’t be in this mess. I didn’t know what this man wanted, but he shot my brother and kidnapped me.

Driving away and not being able to go to my brother’s side felt like a tight band wrapped around my heart. For a moment, as we drove off, I thought I was going to die. I focused on the area outside, trying to regain my strength and see where he was heading.

Thinking back to his tight grasp around my waist, I wondered why it caused a slight tingling feeling to course through my body. I had never in my life felt so scared. But his essence still lingered in my nostrils, causing my mind to wander.

I shifted as he stopped the car and turned to me. Glancing out the window, I felt his eyes scanning me. But I dared not look at him; I wasn’t sure if I would be able to control this sudden urge to have him in me. What was happening to my mind?

This was not like me. He wasn’t even my type. I racked my mind, trying to figure out why my body was sending all these signals that didn’t belong. I didn’t know who he was or what would happen to me. But a man with a gun who isn’t scared to use it was surely not a good man.
