He fisted my hair and forced my gaze to his. “And you will always be mine, Raven. Forever.”

I claimed his lips as he thrusted into me one last time, his body locking out. His muscles tightened up and his choked groans trickled down the back of my throat as our tongues intertwined. I sank down the length of his thickness, feeling him pouring into my body with each and every burst of arousal from the tip of his cock. And as I unraveled against him, my body trembling as my pussy quaked for him, the words fell effortlessly from my lips.

“I love you so much, Hudson.”

He wrapped his arms around me and held me close. “I love you too, Raven. So, fucking much.”

“Good morning, sleepyhead.”

Hudson’s voice greeted me along with the morning rays of the sun that spewed through the French double doors that led out onto the private master suite balcony. I had no idea how in the hell I had gotten into bed in the first place, but something told me Hudson was the reason why I hadn’t woken up hours later still in that damn tub.

“Mmmm, morning,” I murmured.

He rolled into me and nuzzled my cheek. “I smell food downstairs.”

I sniffed the air. “Must be Levi. Dean can’t cook for shit.”

He chuckled before he kissed the shell of my ear. “Don’t tell him that, though.”

I giggled softly. “Never.”

It took us a while to get up from bed. After all, Hudson was warm, and I felt safe all wrapped up in his arms. Laying there, with rays of light streaming through the sheer curtained windows, I could almost convince myself that things were okay. That the world was okay. That the pack outside was all right.

But the more I woke up, the more I knew that wasn’t the case.

“Come on,” I grunted as I pushed myself upright, “let’s go get some food. I know you’ve got to be starving.”

“Yeah, you really gave me a run for my money yesterday.”

I blushed. “Maybe leave that part out with the guys.”

He winked at me. “Do you see the guys anywhere?”

I laughed and shook my head as I hobbled over to my suitcase. In all of the chaos, I still hadn’t managed to unpack anything I had brought with me. I found a long t-shirt and some knee-high socks to keep my legs warm, and that was enough for now. My body was so tired of being confined, and I needed a moment to feel like I didn’t have to cower myself away from the world.

“Ready?” I asked.

Hudson raked his gaze down my body. “The things I’d do to you right now.”

I grinned. “Says the shirtless hunk standing in front of me that I’d just like to?—”

A quick knock came at the door. “Sorry to interrupt whatever the hell that was, but breakfast is ready.”

Levi’s voice made me bark with laughter. “Coming!”

Hudson held his arm out. “Ladies first.”

“So,” Levi said as I opened the door, “I take it you two kissed and made up.”

I peered up at Hudson. “Something like that.”

He winked down at me. “Yeah, something like that.”

“Well, ew,” Levi said plainly. “Let’s get you guys refueled for the day.”

“Is Dean here?” I asked as we all headed toward the stairs.

“Snoring on your couch as we speak,” Levi said.
