“Let’s get started. The ‘where?’ is done. It had to be arranged quickly; I hope you will be alright with it. The others are on standby for bridal instruction.”

“Colors, Kleine?” Murphy asked.

“Everyone should be able to guess that I like grey.” We all nodded. “Dalton, you pick the other color.”

“Royal blue, like the ocean, or turquoise.”

“Why not both, with a hint of purple?” Aunt Victoria held up a photograph of the exact combination.

“You scare me,” I whispered.

“Wedding dress, we can’t discuss with the groom around. Bridesmaid gowns?”

“Can Josh be my Maid of Honor? Is that too strange?” She twisted her hands together in her lap. “I don’t have any other friends, not like him.”

“You have me now.” Murphy grabbed her hand. “I think it’s nice you want him.”

“It’s your wedding, dear.”

“I’m not wearing a dress, Kleine. I draw the line at that.” Josh held up his hands.

“Murphy, would you be a bridesmaid,” she asked, “and if yes, would you wear something a little less girlie? I don’t know what, but we should be able to think of it or ask Sydney.”

“I’m not against a tux. We’ll make mine more form-fitting.”

“That was easy enough. Does your family do the traditional thing of having family members in the wedding party?”

“Yes, we do, but we’ve had some unusual weddings as well.”

“There are a few who would decline, like Mia, she’s very pregnant, and Poppy went back home to take care of an old friend, Mr. Carp.”

“I’m sorry to hear that. Kellan didn’t mention it,” I said.

“Nothing too serious, but he’s like family to her,” Aunt Victoria added. “Then are male and female wedding party wearing tuxes?”

“The girls can wear dresses and Josh a tux. That way we have more option for colors.”

“Perfect. Next is food.”

“I truly don’t care. You know your family and friends, not me.”

“Mom can do that with her eyes closed in a deep sleep,” Murphy waved that off. “Music. What band can we get, late notice?”

“Again, you can decide. To be honest, getting married on this yacht out on the ocean is all I would need. The rest is for you guys.”

“Invitations, flowers, dress style for the girls?” Murphy asked. “What night are we having a bachelorette party and does Josh come to that or the bachelor party?”

“Depends on where each group is going,” Josh joked.

“We could have a joint party,” I suggested.

“Boo, no, have your own.” Murphy strongly disagreed. “I say we hop over to Atlantis.”

“Speaking of Atlantis, Kleine, do you have an idea for the honeymoon?”

“Atlantis made you think honeymoon, Mom?”

“It was a joke earlier about the underwater Atlantis.”
