“Where the fuck does this go?” I asked Raid as a motherfucker came to the bottom of the stairs with his gun ready. I shot him before he could pull the trigger.

“Roof,” was all he said as we continued climbing.

Coming out onto the roof, my heart stopped hearing the propellers of the helicopter. “They’re getting away!” I yelled, putting my gun up to shoot.

I watched as three fuckers, Miles, Kylo, and Flynn all jumped onto the plane and were yelling at the pilot to “go, go, go…”

Fucking pussies.

I took aim to fire, but Raid put his hand on my gun and lowered it. “What the fuck! They’re takin’ off!” I yelled at him, and he nodded to the helicopter.

Looking back to it, Miles had a smug grin on his face, just as the barrel of a gun was put to the back of his and Kylo heads. The guns fired blowing large holes in them and sending brain matter flying. The gun went off again and this time Flynn went down.

Who the fuck was that?

I didn’t have to voice my question a loud, because Deke removed his glasses and head gear long enough to give us a satisfied smile. Looking to the pilot, Micah was in one of the seats and another man who appeared limp was in the other.

The helicopter took off. The wind was so bad we had to turn our backs just to stop it from pelting us to death.

Cooper already had his phone out. “No need to blow. Just need clean up on the top floor. Now,” he barked.

“What the fuck is goin’ on?” I asked Raid who smirked.

“Come on,” he told me as we followed down the stairs and back into the offices, having to step over the meathead I’d already taken out. “Plan B,” he replied, as we moved, and seven men came into the space. I put my gun up.

“They’re with us.” Cooper said, and I put the gun down at my side. “Need all this shit cleaned up. Not a trace of bodies or blood. Got it?”

“Got it,” the older of the men said, and the seven split off.

“We’ve gotta move to the basement and get the fuck out of here,” Cooper told us, and I realized quickly I wasn’t going to get my answers at the moment.

Oh, but I would.

Liam was pissed. I could feel the anger radiating off him like he’d explode at any second. He held himself together until we got into the SUV and took off out of the basement lot and onto the street.

“Could you please tell me what the fuck that was? It was not the plan,” he said to me, but I knew he was directing it at the entire SUV.

It made me want to chuckle, but judging by his mood, he would not find any of this funny.

Ravage always had a plan B. Always. Sometimes we never needed it. Others we did. Once we found the helicopter on the way to the building through satellite images, plan B was formed.

Whether Liam liked it or not, he wasn’t Ravage yet. Hadn’t even gotten his prospect cut. The fact he knew more than any other person would said a lot to the brothers trust in him. Plan B was just an option. That was all.

Didn’t know it would happen, but Micah and Deke were ready in case.

Not to mention this was the best case scenario.

“Calm down,” I started, and his eyes narrowed. “It was our plan B. Saw they had the helicopter and anyone with a brain would assume they have a way to get to it that wasn’t on the floor plans. We took that guess. Plan was to take them out there and blow the place, just like we told ya. But with the alarm goin’ off, it gave them a bit too much warning for our liking. Therefore, we went to plan B.”

“And plan B was shoot them in the helicopter and then what?” Liam asked.

“Micah’ll crash the plane and make sure it all goes up in flames,” Cooper said.

“Forensically won’t that be an issue?” Liam asked, always the cop. Yeah, he’d fit in good here.
