“Same, but why?”

“This is about thirty-seven acres total including the mountains off to the left. Ax and I bought it.”

“Why?” Liam asked.

Not that I was upset or anything. His money, and he could do what he wanted, but why would he and Ax buy this here?

“For us to build on. Build the house we want. The one we’ll live in for the rest of our lives.”

Tears formed in my eyes, and I tried hard to choke them back. “Really?”

“Yeah. We’ll clear out a lot of these trees toward the middle to build. It’ll give us a great view of the hills, yet still keep us hidden and away from prying eyes.”

“You want to hide us?” Liam asked in an unhappy tone.

“It’s if I want to fuck you outside, I can do it without anyone seeing.”

Surprisingly Liam’s cheeks flushed, something I didn’t think I’d ever seen before. It was hot, not to mention the two of them together was seriously hot. Last night when they kissed in front of me, my ovaries exploded.

“What about Ax?”

“He’s going to build on the opposite side with Indie. It’s a bit closer to town over there so they’ll be next to the bakery. They won’t see a thing. Now if you scream loud enough, they’ll hear, but I don’t give a fuck about that.”

It was my turn to heat up. “You really bought this for us? The three of us?”

Raid came to me and wrapped me in his arms. “Absofuckinglutely. Love bein’ at the clubhouse with my brothers, but we need our own space. While it’s great not havin’ Screech next door, there are still too many ears around. And I want to do what I want to when I want to. The clubhouse puts restrictions on that, and I don’t fuckin’ like restrictions.” My pulse thrummed.

“True. Are we gonna stay there until the house gets done?” I asked, knowing it would take quite a while to get the plans created and then get it executed.

“We have two options for that. Either we stay at your old place, Nyx,” He started, and I immediately wanted to tell him no. Why? I couldn’t really put into words fully. Just that I wanted a fresh start. “Or second, we put a double wide out here while we wait.”

“You want to buy a trailer?” Liam asked him.

“Sure. We can always sell it when we’re done or put it on another part of the land for people to stay if they happen to visit.”

“You’ve got this all planned out.”

Raid smirked like a proud peacock. “Well, the trailer will be here tomorrow.”

“How’d you know?” I asked him.

“Because you loved that house, but after everything that happened, you didn’t love it as much. I knew you didn’t want to move back there. And Liam has been goin’ with the flow.”

“Yeah,” Liam said. “I need to get my shit sorted in Atlanta and sell my house there.”

Liam had waited as per Raid’s request to make everything look normal.

“You sure you want to sell it?” I asked, hating that I asked but also not wanting to push Liam to move his entire life here with us.

“Fuck yeah. My home is with you two. Atlanta isn’t my home. Not since you left. I’ve already put my notice in effective immediately. Sell the house, and then I’m free of Atlanta. Let’s do this. I’m all in.”

I looked up at Raid, a wide smile on my face. “I’m in too.”

“We’re in this together.”

I lifted up and kissed Raid. Then moved to Liam and kissed him.

Staring at the both of them, I nodded, hoping they got the idea.
