“We’d better go before both of our asses are in the fire,” I said, chuckling.

“I’d never let anything happen, Liam. Swear to you. Thompson will do as he’s told and keep his mouth shut.”

“Got it. Thanks.”

We each got out of the SUV on opposite sides. Since Nyx was on Raid’s side, I moved over to them. Nyx’s lips were on Raid, and my cock twitched. Fuck, they were hot together.

Nyx must’ve felt me because she released Raid and came to me, pressing her lips against mine. I wrapped her in my arms, loving the feel of her, and I kissed her back with everything I had.

She pulled back. “About time you get back.”

“It took a bit longer than expected. But it’s done,” Raid said.

“Good. Now we need to find a place to live,” Nyx said. We’d been spending our days here at the clubhouse because there was light, Nyx said. She loved the safe house for a few hours, but the no windows and feeling like she was in a cave, which she was, didn’t sit with her. She wanted the sun on her face. So of course, Raid and I complied.

“Yeah. We do,” Raid said, leaning down and kissing her once again.

A throat clearing came from the front of the SUV. Austyn and Ryker made their way to us.

“So. Did you tell her?” Austyn asked Raid, who broke away from Nyx.

“Tell me what?” Nyx questioned.

“I take that as a no,” Austyn said, rolling her eyes. “All the money from the Hamiltons is in three offshore accounts.” She reached into her pocket and pulled out a slip of paper and handed it to Nyx. “It’s clean, so if you want to transfer it all to the States, you can. If you want to leave some there, you can do that too. It’s yours. It would’ve been yours anyway, but we went the long route.”

Nyx looked between Austyn, Ryker, Raid, me then back to Austyn. “I don’t understand.”

Austyn smiled. “Nightbot at your service.”

Nyx gasped and took a step back, right into me. I wrapped her up in my arms.

“How did you? What did you? Did you know it was me?” Nyx started firing questions off rapidly, gaining another chuckle from Austyn.

“Calm down. Yes, I knew it was you after looking into some of the information and when searches came back to you. Spoke with Micha, and we were working the back angle on the down low since he was the one who asked me to research you in the first place.” She shrugged. “You were a soon-to-be ol’ lady. We like to check people out. But I may’ve lied a bit when I told you I could access everything and get it done. I didn’t have access at the time, but I knew with a little perseverance, I could do it. The how and what don’t really matter. It’s done.”

“But what about your cut?”

Austyn smiled. “Oh, I took that portion out. Kept a quarter of it and gave three quarters to the club. It’s already in our accounts.”

Nyx stepped forward and wrapped Austyn in her arms. “Thank you. Thank you for helping me out when I felt I had no other options.” She pulled away.

“No problem. Thanks for the money. No skin off my teeth.”

“You do know that Screech will want to know everything your techy little brains would conjure to make all this happen, right?” Nyx said.

“Nah. He’s not Ravage. Can’t get into all that shit with him,” Austyn responded, and she gained my respect in that moment. Were all these men and women like this? They had to be, or Raid wouldn’t be a part of them.

Damn, it was beautiful.

“I’m thinkin’ your mom is taking Screech under her wing?” I asked.

“She has a soft spot for the guy. Don’t be surprised if she keeps him,” she responded, and I laughed loudly. This did not surprise me one bit.

“Alright. We’re headin’ to bed. We have shit to do tomorrow,” Raid said, taking Nyx’s hand and leading her to the place we’d been staying. Nyx grabbed my hand, and the three of us went into the building.

I wondered what the hell Raid had planned for tomorrow. But first to enjoy our night.
