Echo looks up at me. “Do you trust me?”

“With my life.”

“How ‘bout with your ass?”

“Same difference,” I tell him, with a laugh.

“Spencer, get ready to push in when I say so,” Echo calls out.

He looks back at me. “Maybe I’m being presumptuous, but I think we both want mating marks?”

I guess we didn’t discuss it, but I nod.

I’ve dreamed about this, about Echo marking me, so many times I’ve lost count.

“Where do you want it?” he asks, his voice soft.

“My throat,” I tell him, feeling my face flush. It’s the right spot for an Alpha’s mark, but mating marks are usually more hidden. Packs are becoming more accepted, but they’re generally frowned upon by more traditional people. I don’t care about anyone but them. I want my marks to be seen.

He smiles at me. “Under Spencer’s?”

“Right under it.”

“Perfect,” he says, as his fingers stroke me there.

He kisses me, and then he looks back over my shoulder. “Spencer, get ready. I’m going to mark Toshi. Push in when he moans. He’ll be relaxed enough to take all of you.”

I take in another deep breath. This is it.

I’m about to become mated to them both.

Echo’s teeth pierce my throat right under Spencer’s mark and I moan softly at the rush of feeling it sends through me. Spencer thrusts into me, his hands on my hips. The feeling of him filling me up is intense, and utterly satisfying.

When he starts to move, I start to move.

The slow, deep fuck has me feeling as if I’ve finally found where I’m supposed to be.

“Gods, this took way too damn long to happen,” Echo murmurs, gazing up at me with dreamy eyes. “But it was definitely worth the wait.”

I smile back at him. “I feel exactly the same way.”

Chapter Fifty-One

Leanne

It’s funny how safe E.A. makes me feel. Despite our rough start, it’s easy to let myself drift off to sleep in his bed. Knowing the door is locked helps, but I’m pretty sure the only reason I don’t wake up in the middle of the night with the urge to find something to wedge against the door for extra protection against intruders is because he’s with me.

He didn’t explain why he sleeps with the door locked, and he doesn’t need to.

It’s pretty obvious he has some kind of trauma.

Either that’s linked to what happened to his mother, or it’s something he hasn’t told me about.

I’m sure I’ll have plenty of chances to find out considering I intend on spending the whole weekend with these guys. Well, I guess I’ll have to go home to get some clothes, and I should really find time to spend with Secret. I already bailed on dinner last night. I can’t keep doing that, and I should tell her what’s going on. At least, the parts that are safe to tell.

I’m awake when the sun rises, which is kind of weird considering this room doesn’t seem to have a window. There’s a small one in the bathroom, and I checked the time on my phone when I realized I was awake and E.A. was still passed out cold.

He mutters a little in his sleep. Completely indecipherable, and weirdly endearing.
