Stefano Russo

I’m on my way in to see my father at his office. He called me this morning and told me he wanted to meet to discuss some pressing topics, whatever that means. I’ve been my father’s right-hand man for years. My father, Antonio Russo, is in charge of the Italian Mafia in the southeast part of the United States. He has an immense amount of power that will one day be passed on to me. He’s been grooming me since I was young, probably too young, to take over for him one day.

When I was twelve years old he started bringing me along to sit in on his meetings. I saw firsthand the things he had to do to remain in power, most of the time, they weren’t very nice. Being the leader of an organized crime family isn’t nice or legal. One of his rules that he’s drilled into my brothers and me, women and children are off-limits. No matter what happens, women and children are to be protected and cherished.

He’s going on seventy years old and I know my time is coming. I’m just waiting for him to pass on the reins. I’m more than ready, have been ready for a few years now.

I walk into the building where my father does all of his business, legal and otherwise, and pass Victoria at the front desk. She purrs my name and eyefucks me as I walk by. “Go right on in, he’s expecting you.”

I don’t acknowledge her. She’s been trying to get with me ever since she started working for my father.

Walking into my father’s office I find him looking at some paperwork at his desk. His head snaps up as soon as I enter. “Close the door behind you.”

Closing the door, I walk up to him as he stands and give him a hug. He pats my back then pulls back to look me over and squeezes my shoulders as he looks at me. “Have a seat Stefano.”

I sit down in one of the chairs in front of his desk and he sits down in front of me. He stares at me for the longest time, and I wonder if this is finally it. Is he handing the reins over to the family?

“Stefano, I know you’ve been waiting a long time to take over the family, but I can’t let you. Not yet.”

“Why?”

“I’m going to give it to you plain. You need a family.”

“I have a family.”

“You need your own family. A wife. A child. Something that you can hold onto. Something to keep you warm at night when the darkness of our world creeps in and threatens to consume you.”

“I don’t understand.”

“The work we do isn’t for the faint of heart. We get into a lot of shit. If you’re going to run this family I need to know you are going to remain human. You can’t lose your soul and let this become all you live for. You’ll become a monster, and that’s something I can’t condone.”

“You aren’t a monster.”

“I had your mother and you kids. I had a family to keep me human, without you I wouldn’t be the man I am today.”

“So what are you saying? If I don’t find a wife you’ll find someone else?” I growl.

“That’s exactly what I’m saying. I’m getting old, I need to know the person I’m handing this over to can handle it.”

“I can handle it!” I say, slapping my palm down on his desk.

He shakes his head at me. “Not yet you can’t.”

“How much time do I have?” I ask between clenched teeth.

“You need a wife and a child within two years from today. If you don’t, I’ll find someone else.”

“That won’t be necessary. I’ll be married before the end of the month and she’ll be bred on our wedding night.”

He nods and I storm out of his office. Victoria tries talking to me on my way out, but I ignore her ass like I always do. Then I freeze at the door. She could be the answer to my problems. It wouldn’t even be that hard. I bet she’d marry tonight if I asked her. The thought of spreading her thighs and fucking her makes biles rise up in my throat. She’s been passed around the men in the family for a while now. I would never marry someone like her. No, if I’m getting married I’m going to make sure she’s mine and only mine. That her pussy molds to the shape of my dick and only mine.

I walk out of my father’s office and get into my black Tahoe. As soon as I start my truck, Luca calls.

“Are you in charge now?”

“Nope.”
