She pursed her lips as she considered his question. Christ, her mouth mesmerized him. He couldn’t wait to see those perfect red lips around his cock.
“What are my options?” she asked.
“Well,” he said, drawing out the word. “If you prefer, we can just fuck until we get it out of our systems, as you said. Or, depending on how you felt about the spanking I gave you the other day, we can do more.”
Her whole face lit up, drawing him in like a beacon. Lust made her voice low and sensuous when she said, “More. Please more.”
Thank fucking God.
“Then here’s what we’re going to do. I’ll get you a copy of our application from Zach’s office. You can fill out the part about your hard and soft limits. When you’re ready, head to my house.” He pulled his cell from his pocket, tapping the screen to create a new contact. “Put your number in here, and I’ll text you the address.”
Worry lurked in her eyes as she took the phone and entered her number. “There’s one problem,” she said as she handed the phone back to him. “I don’t have a car.”
He blinked at her for a few seconds. “How did you get here?”
“Gabriel hired a driver with a van to bring me and all my stuff.” She regarded him with a sardonic half-smile. “And yes, I was made very well aware before I came that we’re eight miles from the nearest town. I know how stranded I am.”
“That doesn’t bother you?”
Some of the bravado slipped from her expression. “It’s certainly going to take some getting used to. Especially on Saturday nights, when I’m the only one here.” She shuddered, her voice strained when she added, “God, I was terrified last weekend. I turned on every single light in the house. But I don’t have much of a choice. I don’t have a license. I never even learned how to drive.”
“How is that possible?” He looked her up and down. “You’re what, thirty-three? Thirty-four?”
“Thirty-eight,” she said, throwing him a flirty look. “Thank you for the compliment.”
He snorted. “You do realize that makes it even worse?”
She only shrugged. “I’ve lived in Manhattan since I was eight. We always took the subway or cabs if it was too far to walk. My granny didn’t have a car either.”
Interesting. That made it sound like her grandmother raised her, not her parents. Filing that information away for later, he returned his focus to the problem at hand. “Okay, new plan. You pack an overnight bag and meet me in the parking lot. You can fill out the application on the way.”
Her grin turned downright giddy, and she practically ran across the kitchen. “See you in five,” she called as she disappeared into the dining room.
He watched the door as it swung back and forth, going over the past several minutes in his head. Part of him felt fairly sure this was a terrible idea—that rather than get her out of his system, additional fucking would only make him desperate for more.
But as embarrassing as it was to admit, he knew his cock was very much calling the shots. This was happening whether he wanted it to or not.
He might as well enjoy every goddamn second.
CHAPTER 7
Addison
Since Mason’s car probably cost over a hundred grand, Addison wasn’t exactly surprised when he pointed at the most expensive looking house around and said, “That’s where we’re headed.” She remembered seeing it on her drive up from New York. It stood out from all the other mountainside homes.
While most of the others looked like extravagant log cabins, Mason went for a more modern vibe—all glass and steel and gray stone.
“Wow,” she said as she climbed out of the silver sedan. “It’s even bigger than I thought.”
“That’s what she said,” Mason said under his breath.
Addison spun around to face him, her mouth hanging open. “Did you just...make a joke?”
Shoulders slumping slightly, he frowned at her. “Was it not funny?” He sounded as disappointed as he looked. “People always tell me I don’t have a sense of humor.”
“No,” she rushed to tell him. “It was great. Perfect timing. I was just surprised. You don’t really seem like the kind of person to tell those kinds of jokes.”
He ran a hand through his hair, no longer looking her directly in the eye. “To be honest, I’m not. Camden says things like that all the time, and everyone always laughs, so I was—” He paused, giving a self-conscious half-shrug. “A lot of what he said at the party made you laugh.”
