“Here, here!” Her friends chimed in.

Heck, she belonged to the Outlands kink club. She could find herself a Daddy Dom who checked all her other boxes, too. The world was her kinky oyster.

Two Months Later

Bree

“So, how was the wedding?”

It was the first time they’d gotten together since Rita and Andres had gotten back from a double wedding that had been at an honest-to-goodness kinky ranch out in Montana. Eden and Bree had been fascinated by the description of Rawhide Ranch, which had a full complement of Daddy Doms and an entire wing for ‘Littles.’ Bree wasn’t sure she was a Little, but she wouldn’t have minded getting to run around and find out.

“It was amazing,” Rita said, leaning forward on the bar table, which pushed her boobs up to incredible heights in the babydoll nightie she was wearing. Clubwear at the Outlands, especially for Rita now that Andres was her Daddy Dom, wasn’t like clubwear anywhere else in the city.

Beside her, Eden was wearing a pink corset that matched her hair exactly, as well as pink lips and glittering pink eyeshadow that had been applied over a thick line of black eyeliner that emphasized her Asian ancestry. Bree was wearing a corset, too, but she wasn’t nearly as color coordinated, and next to her two friends, she felt a little out of place.

Somehow, despite the fact that she’d been coming to the Outlands almost every other weekend for the past two months since her breakup, she’d only had a scene with one person. It had been fun. No sex, because she hadn’t felt ready for that yet, but she thought Master Tom might be interested in the future… but he hadn’t asked her to scene again, and she hadn’t had the guts to ask him for one. Or to ask why.

“What was amazing?” Eden pushed. “The wedding? The ranch? The hot sex with your hot Daddy boyfriend?”

All three of them automatically turned their heads to look at the table a few tables over to where Andres, Marcus, and Owen were standing. They’d separated, supposedly so the ladies could catch up and have ‘girl-talk,’ but everyone really knew it was to keep Marcus and Eden from sniping at each other. She seemed to have the compulsion to poke at him until he lost his cool, whereas he responded by trying to ignore her, which just made her angry. Conversations went much better when they were kept separate.

Besides, Andres and his friends needed to catch up, too.

Bree’s gaze lingered on Owen before she turned away. Sometimes, she wondered if part of the reason no one was asking her to scene was they’d noticed her crush on him. He looked utterly delicious in leather pants that hugged a perfect ass, no shirt because he was showing off his muscles, and his black hair was in that perfectly flopped style that always made her think of her favorite K-pop artists, which made sense since he was Korean.

He was a Daddy Dom. If he wasn’t friends with Andres, he would tick all her boxes. Instead, she just crushed from afar because she did not need inter-friendship drama. Marcus and Eden were already causing enough friction. If she and Owen started something and didn’t work out… yeah, no thanks. Talk about a nightmare scenario.

“Granted, the hot sex with my hot Daddy boyfriend was pretty amazing,” Rita said, turning back to them with a grin. “But I was talking about the ranch. It’s an actual working ranch with horses and animals and everything. The rooms are amazing. Lots of the furniture around the ranch has little kinky details, like perfectly placed d-rings.”

“How does that work with a wedding?” Bree wanted to know. “Everyone there couldn’t have been kinky.”

“They hid most of it away and closed off the wing where the Littles spend most of their time. I really want to go back to see what it’s like when everything is going on. It was really incredible, and oh my God, the bachelorette party was amazing.” As Rita kept talking, Brie snuck a few more looks over at Owen. She couldn’t help it.

When he happened to look back at her one time, she froze. He winked. She felt her face turning bright red, but she couldn’t look away until he did.

When she did, her friends were looking at her, and Rita had stopped talking.

Oops.

“Is there something you’d like to tell us, Bree?” Eden asked, amusement coloring her voice.

“Um, no?” It came out as a question rather than a firm answer.

“Is there something going on between you and Owen? Did I miss something while I was away?” Rita looked excited, which surprised Bree. She wouldn’t have thought Rita would want more drama among their little unofficial group.

“You didn’t miss anything.” Bree shook her head. “There’s nothing going on with me and Owen.”

“Then why did he just wink at you?”

Why indeed?

“How am I supposed to know? I just happened to glance over in their direction, and he winked. Maybe he had something in his eye.”

“Uh huh.” Eden took a sip of her drink. “Maybe instead of running a food truck called A Touch of Brie, what he actually wants to do is touch Bree.”

Hearing Eden say it sent a little wave of heat and desire through Bree, but she couldn’t let her friends keep talking like that.
