“May his soul rest in peace.” Raffaele sighed as he shook his head, and I gave him a smug look.

Stefano knew the consequences of not doing a job properly. I was not a patient man, and he fucked up when he didn’t do a thorough search on Althaia.

“I have been keeping an eye on her ever since she showed up. She’s no threat.” I told him.

“Her mother?” Raffaele asked.

“She is a different story.” I said, as we made our way out of the basement where the gym was.

“How so?”

“Since they arrived at the manor, the number of phone calls that couldn't be traced has increased.” I told him. While Althaia didn’t pose any kind of threat, her mother was someone I needed to figure out since she was an ex-wife of a mob boss. I needed to know why she left Gaetano, and why she was getting untraceable calls.

“Sounds like I need to look into that.” Raffaele noted.

I nodded as we stepped outside by the pool. My eyes immediately found the green-eyed woman on the sunbed, laughing at something Arianna said.

My eyes trailed down her body, enjoying the red bikini she was wearing.

Red is a fucking good color on her.

My eyes rested on her chest when she adjusted the top that was a tad too small for her full breasts. It was definitely getting a reaction from me.

I quickly scanned around the area to make sure none of my men stood around looking at her. I know those bastards were checking her out the second she showed up at the engagement party, and I would fucking kill them if they were watching her dressed in a bikini.

“Cannonball!” Raffaele shouted, jumping into the pool, as water splashed right on Arianna and Althaia.

“You idiot!” Arianna yelled and angrily wiped the water off her face. He approached her with a mischievous grin and shook his head like a dog to mess with her. She tried to kick him, but he was quick and grabbed her ankle, pulling her off the sunbed.

Arianna’s yelling died down when he threw her into the pool. She cursed at him when she returned to the surface and the idiot just stood at the edge, mocking her, not noticing Althaia coming up behind him. I watched her smiling as she sneaked up behind him and shoved him into the pool.

“You played dirty!” Raffaele whined, and she gave an innocent shrug.

“Whoops.” She grinned. Her face was slightly scrunched up with her tongue in between her teeth. I was amused by the face she was making.

Althaia met my gaze briefly before quickly looking away when I came closer.

“I’m going to go get us something to drink.” She muttered to Arianna, who was busy trying to drown Raffaele.

I followed her inside, well aware of what she was doing. Still, I couldn’t help but stare at her round ass as she walked. I had to withhold a groan as I imagined all the things I would do to her. Including spanking her ass until it turned into a beautiful shade of red.

“You’re avoiding me.” I stated, trying to keep my mind elsewhere.

Althaia opened the fridge, still not looking at me.

“Don’t know what you’re talking about.” She replied, pretending to be occupied by what kind of drink she wanted.

I watched the cold from the fridge making her to shiver slightly, and I immediately noticed her nipples hardening behind her top.

The image of the way she had arched her back for me to taste her breasts still freshly lingered in my mind, and the way she would moan. It awakened my cock even more, and I had to force myself to think of something else.

But that fucking red bikini wasn’t helping.

“Look at me.” I spoke with a gentle command.

“No, thank you.” Althaia scoffed.

My mouth twitched seeing her grow more confident with me. I would never forget how scared she looked when she saw me at her hotel room and thought I was going to kill her. But I couldn’t when she looked at me with those green eyes before she clumsily tried to run away.
