“God, I love you!” Althaia grabbed my hand and pulled me with her to the bathroom where the hot tub was.
After a quick rinse in the shower, she let out a sigh as she lowered her body into the hot water. I settled into the hot tub behind her, the jet streams creating a pleasurable massage-like effect.
“Just what I needed after you made me run today.” Althaia sighed in bliss and closed her eyes.
“I’ll have the hot tub ready again tomorrow after your training.”
“I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear you.”
I chuckled as her body completely relaxed against me, massaging her shoulders to ease the tension.
“That feels nice.” Althaia moaned quietly as my hands wandered her body.
I kissed her shoulder, trailing up to the side of her neck, and lightly sucked her skin. My cock was getting hard as I touched her breasts before sliding a hand down her stomach to between her thighs.
“Piccola?” I called after her quietly as her breathing got heavy.
Is she serious right now?
“Of course, you fell asleep.” I sighed before letting out a small laugh as I shook my head. “I guess that’s my punishment for making you run.”
I had to adjust my length, which was painfully pressed against her back, and waited for it to die down.
I closed the door behind me to the office after I had put Althaia into bed. She didn’t wake up once and was completely knocked out.
I sank into the chair behind the desk, and I pulled out the necklace to scrutinize it. My eyes narrowed, suspicion gnawing at me as I held the heirloom under the light. My gaze penetrated its every detail, searching for the elusive mystery that hid beneath the surface.
And there it was.
I opened the drawer to retrieve a magnet. Placing it near the pendant, I disrupted any concealed signals and brought the pendant down onto the desk, shattering it into pieces.
“Fucking bastard.” I clicked my tongue. The real pendant had been swapped out with a fake one, crafted from glass, with a small, concealed device.
Leaning back in my seat, I examined it closely. It wasn’t a tracking device, but a microphone. This discovery could only mean one thing, and it complicated matters even further.
I grabbed my phone when it rang.
“Antonio.”
“She’s awake.”
“Good. And?”
“She’s suffering from memory loss at the moment.”
“I need her clear when I get back.”
“We’ll do whatever it takes to make her remember.” He assured me.
I nodded, twiddling the microphone between my fingers.
“And one more thing.” I said, squeezing the microphone until it snapped in half. “I need you to prepare every single one of my men and get everything ready. When I return, there will be war.”
“Understood.”
I ended the call and swept the shattered fragments of glass off the desk. Retrieving the small box concealed in the drawer, checking it one more time.
For her, I’m going to burn the world.
