After dropping Althaia off at work, I headed straight to the airport. I arrived just in time to see Lorenzo, Arianna, Cara, and Antonio get out of the private jet.
Althaia had mentioned several times that she was missing Arianna and Cara. Naturally, I would go above and beyond to ensure her happiness. That was why I arranged for them to come for a surprise visit. Plus, she was upset with me, and I hoped this might help her forgive me.
However, there was a deeper purpose behind their visits, and that was why Lorenzo and Antonio were also here.
“I need to talk to you.” I told them when they were close.
I sent a look in Lorenzo’s way, and he responded with a curt nod, gesturing for Cara to step into the vehicle. I took a few steps away, creating enough distance so she wouldn’t hear anything.
“Antonio, I need you to follow Jacinta wherever she goes and report everything back to me. Don’t let yourself be seen. Not even to Althaia.” Giving a quick nod, he made his way towards the car I had sent for him.
“Did you get the decryptor from Raffaele?” I asked Arianna once Lorenzo had joined us.
“I did, but what’s going on?” She asked.
“I need to know what her mother is doing. We know she’s definitely still in the game, but the question is with whom.” I told them.
“What set you off?” Lorenzo asked.
“She knows too fucking much. She knows about… Sienna.” I clenched my jaw.
“What? How?” Arianna raised her brows in surprise.
“I don’t know, but that’s what I want to figure out. Whoever those contacts of hers may be, I want them gone.” I sneered. “Lorenzo, see if you can get something out of Cara. Maybe she knows something that can tip us off. Arianna, there is a safe in their boutique that only her mother has access to. It’s a digital one. Use the decryptor to get the password. Lorenzo and I will take care of the rest.”
I was ready to figure out who Jacinta Celano truly was.

Althaia
“…Is she being for real…”
“…Should we wake her up?”
“…Let her sleep.”
I let out a loud and annoyed sigh by the hushed voices that disturbed my dreams. I turned around, hoping to resume my peaceful sleep.
“How charming.”
I frowned at the voice. Why were there people talking, and what were they doing in my room? As I tried to drown out the noise and drift back to sleep, my eyes shot open as reality crashed down on me.
I was in the boutique, not my own room.
In an instant, I sat up and blinked rapidly, trying to fully awaken my senses.
“So unprofessional of you, Thaia!”
Still in a confused daze, I turned to the voice and saw Cara, her eyes filled with amusement.
“Huh…?” I said, trying to figure out what was going on and if that was truly Cara who had magically appeared in front of me.
“Shit, that must have been one good nap.”
I turned to the other voice and saw that Arianna was also here. I rubbed my eyes, hoping to clear my blurry vision. My eyes slowly widened when I realized I wasn’t dreaming, and they were truly in front of me.
“Oh my God!” I squealed and jumped up from the couch. I immediately embraced them both tightly. “What are you doing here?!”
