“Oh, it’s already pretty bad,” Logan growls.

“And maybe I want to make it even worse.” Ryan laughs.

But I keep my arms outstretched. As long as I can, I’m going to keep them apart. We have a good thing going, and these two assholes are about to ruin all of it because they aren’t mature enough to talk their issues out.

“I’m not going to let you two continue to hurt each other,” I say over the sound of Logan and Ryan’s continued struggle to get at each other.

But truthfully, I don’t know how much longer I can hold them both back. This could get bad, really fast.

My eyes fly open, and the sound of yelling wakes me up. It takes me a second to realize what’s going on. I sit up, taking in the sight before me.

Ethan stands between Ryan and Logan, his arms outstretched in an effort to hold them back. Logan’s face is red, and he appears flustered. Ryan has the same look on his face.

“Ethan, if you don’t get out of my way, I’m going to assume that means you don’t mind getting punched in the face,” Logan says.

“Fucking try me. See what happens. I’m not a part of this, but if you swing at me, I won’t be sitting on the sidelines anymore.”

“Good,” Logan says.

What the fuck is going on? I expected to wake up surrounded by the three men that I’d been slowly falling for. I expected morning cuddles and maybe even another round of sex before we got on with our day.

I certainly didn’t expect this. My mouth opens, but nothing comes out. I don’t even know what to say, I’m still completely stunned.

“You really are just a miserable piece of shit,” Ryan says.

This kind of talk is the last thing I expected to hear from Ryan, who’s usually the most lighthearted out of all of them.

Finally, I find my voice. “What the fuck is going on?”

All three of them look at me as if they forgot I was even here. Ryan’s eyes widen, and Logan just scowls. Ethan gives me an apologetic look, but none of them move.

I slide out of bed, not even caring that I’m completely naked. Nothing they haven’t all seen many times before.

“Tell me what this is about,” I demand, planting my hands on my hips.

No one speaks, but Ryan looks guilty, dropping his eyes and looking away.

I walk towards Logan, stopping once I’m a foot away. “What’s your problem?” I ask him.

He presses his lips into a thin line. “He started it,” he finally says, jutting his chin in Ryan’s direction.

“Are you fucking serious? You’re the one who woke up in a bad mood and decided to take it out on me!”

“Oh, really? Is that how it went down? I seem to recall me trying to leave and you blocking my way so that I couldn’t. That’s what started this whole thing.”

“Is that true?” I ask, turning to Ryan.

Ryan swallows, still looking guilty, before his face hardens and he meets my eyes.

“Yes.”

“Why did you do that?”

I feel like I’m talking to three toddlers right now, trying to get to the bottom of who pinched who first. This is fucking ridiculous.
