Mara sat up and gripped the base of Finley’s cock, sinking down and taking him entirely to the hilt.
“Fuck!” Finley cursed as Mara began to ride him in earnest, leaning down to bite at his neck.
The great hall echoed with the sounds of skin on skin as Mara rode Finley in a harsh, erratic rhythm. She was chasing her own pleasure, and the sight of her utterly wild on top of him was enough to send Finley to another world.
Finley’s entire body tightened up as he turned molten. Pleasure and pain exploded up his spine, and Finley threw his head back, coming in a silent scream as he rutted his hips up against Mara. She tightened and fluttered around him as her orgasm overtook her, wringing every bit of pleasure from Finley.
He collapsed back on the chaise, and she followed suit, curling up on his chest. Finley didn’t know how long they stayed there, but he could’ve stayed there forever.
Finley had a mate—and she was insane, wild, and perfect.
EPILOGUE
“Let’s go, Finley!” Mara cheered, jumping to her feet. Emmett sputtered a string of curses and covered his ears with his hands.
“You’re going to break my damn eardrums, Mara,” he grumbled, readjusting his knees. They were sitting in the stands at Tynecastle Park, watching the Hearts’s first match of the season.
“Get used to it,” Fern smiled, peeking out from the other side of Emmett. “I think I’ve been replaced as Finley’s number one fan.” She nodded in reference to Mara’s matching jersey, scarf, and cap. Mara was covered in head-to-toe Hearts memorabilia without an ounce of shame—it helped that it matched her hair.
“It’s endearing,” Calum grinned, wrapping an arm around Fern’s waist. “I don’t think I’ve seen Mara blush for at least three hundred years.”
“You know I can hear you all, right?” Mara chided, raising an eyebrow at her friends before turning her attention back to the field.
“Well, listen to me put in a request for better seats,” Emmett whined, shuffling his legs. The stadium seating was comically too small for a wulver of his size. “Remind me again why we aren’t in the box seats?”
“Because,” Mara’s blush deepened, “you can’t actually see as well from up there.”
“You don’t see enough of Finley already?” Emmett smirked.
“I don’t get to see him do this!” Mara scoffed, waving her hand out towards the field, “And no, I don’t see enough of Finley, anyway.”
“I never thought I’d see the day Mara Parker went soft,” Emmett chuckled, standing up and throwing an arm over her shoulder. “It agrees with you.”
“Come off it,” Mara grumbled, while leaning into Emmett’s hug, “You’re going to be impossible when it happens to you.”
“Ha!” Emmett rolled his eyes and took another sip of his beer. “Now you have lost your mind. I’m much too old for falling in love now.”
“You’re the youngest out of all of us,” Calum raised a brow skeptically, inserting himself into the conversation. Emmett shook his head and wiped some of the beer foam off his lip.
“Ah, but I’m wulver. I’m past my prime.” Emmett gave his stomach a few pats as if to illustrate his point.
Fern, Calum, and Mara began protesting until the crowd’s screams got their attention. It sucked them back into the game and the conversation was forgotten.
The Hearts won, and the group started to exit the stadium.
“Go see Finley,” Fern smiled, squeezing Mara’s hand, “we’ll meet you at the pub later.”
Mara waved her farewells and ducked into the tunnel, waiting patiently with some of the other families. She never would have imagined a world in which she was waiting around with football ‘wives and girlfriends,’ but her instincts were officially rewired around Finley McEwan.
Mara’s phone buzzed, breaking her out of her daydreams of a sweaty, post-match Finley.
What the hell? Mara frowned at the unknown number blinking across her screen.
Coming back to Edinburgh x, Pippa
Pippa left Edinburgh promptly after the dismantling of Parker Manor. She was determined to be where the action was, and after Katerina’s death, it had become—according to Pippa—mundane.
After ending Katerina’s reign of terror, Calum brought the baobhan sith under his authority. Katerina had been keeping her ‘children’ in various states of blood lust, making them unable to think clearly.
