Shifters from what had been Crimson Claw asked her if she’d be joining Moonstone. There was no question in her mind about that. The two men she loved most were both here in Moonstone pack, after all, and it’s where all of her students would be.

When the crowd died down, Abigail lurked uncertainly, looking out over the pack territory in contemplation. She found the bench where she had tutored Isolde, Gavin, and Samara, and sat down, looking out over the heavily blowing trees. It was very cool for a summer day.

“You’ll be happy to know that the teaching position is opening up soon,” Dominic’s voice came from behind her. “I assume you’ll be taking it?”

She wheeled around in her seat, finding Luke and Dominic standing there, watching her with stoic smiles on their faces.

She nodded, smiling. She wasn’t sure how to express her joy. She looked out over the weather-torn landscape, afraid that at any moment, everything she’d been given would be taken away. She would learn to live with the trauma—learn to trust life again. But for now, she was just happy to take it one day at a time.

Luke and Dominic sat on either side of her as the first sprinkles of rain fell from the sky slowly. She felt a cold drop land on her cheek. As they looked at her expectantly, she could feel a pit in her stomach. She still didn’t have an answer for them, and she was certain that’s what they wanted.

“So,” she began, “where do we go from here?”

Dominic and Luke, still covered in battle scars, glanced at each other before meeting her eyes again. She panicked for a second before Dominic cracked a smile, and Luke started laughing.

“We did a lot of thinking,” Dominic said.

“It’s terrible what my father did to us,” Luke cut in, before adding, “but I’ve seen how you look at Dominic.”

“We’re both happy with you,” Dominic said, “and we can’t bear the thought of going back to a time before we knew you.”

She wondered where this was going. They were great at keeping her in suspense, but she didn’t know if her poor heart could take much more.

“So, we thought, why choose at all?” Luke said.

“We both love you, and we’re fine with each other now,” Dominic said. “So, if you’ll have us…”

“We’d like to, both of us, take you as our mate,” Luke finished.

Holy shit, Abigail thought.

“It’s unconventional, I know.” Dominic smiled ruefully. “But I have a few friends in the Grimmaw and Gravecrest packs with similar arrangements, and I hear it’s going really well for them.”

She cocked her head to the side, not knowing if she was supposed to have heard of either pack.

“You don’t have to let us know yet,” Luke added. He seemed to think Dominic might be coming on a little strong.

On one hand, she had a lot to think about. She never saw herself spending her life, giving herself to two men at the same time.

But on the other, she hardly had a decision to make.

She wanted Luke.

She wanted Dominic.

And she wanted a way to be with both while hurting neither of them.

“You’re both the lights of my life,” Abigail admitted. “When I struggled the most, you stood by me, embracing me when I felt unworthy of love—when I was at my weakest.”

They both smiled at her, expectantly.

“So, my answer is yes. I want to spend the rest of my life with both of you. How could you ever think I’d say no?”

They kissed each other under the stormy sky, rain drenching them. A loud clap of thunder signaled a new dawn.

They’d need to find dry clothing soon. But for now, they were just content to be together—feel each other’s skin—all three of them, unapologetically in love.
