“About yesterday…I didn’t know about the fraternization policy.”
John laughs. “You mean the F.U.C.K. policy? Rules are made to be broken.”
I agree, but our jobs could be on the line. After all, our secret project is to report to the CEO about who’s abusing the rules.
We devote all of our time to Opus Syndicate, long stretches of overtime. When are we supposed to meet women? Not that my brothers and I date, and we’re not biological brothers. We served together and we’re in the local motorcycle club. We’d die for each other. We do everything together and recently decidedthat the three of us combined could be enough to earn a woman’s respect. To care for her the way she deserves. And yesterday we decided that woman was Lexi.
Fuck, fuck, fuck! This complicates things.
Lexi seems to consider John’s disregard for rules, then says, “I need this job.”
She needs a mail room job? I take her badge and loop the lanyard around her neck, freeing her hands. I close my hands around her, relishing how tiny they feel. “Baby Girl, do you need other things?”
I breathe deeply, hoping she’ll give me the answer my body is craving. She pulls a hand free and lifts the badge that’s hanging around my neck. “Bear is your actual name?”
I shrug then lean down for a kiss but stop myself an inch before her lips. “Baby Girl, I need you.”
She rises on her tiptoes and pops a quick, chaste kiss on my lips. After all the lost sleep last night, every fucking dream I woke up from, having to rub one out, I’m full of energy and life and hope.
“I have to get back to my training,” she says.
I grip her fingertips as she pulls away. “We can train you.”
Austin steps behind her and wraps his arms around her. “And there’s still a V-card we promised to help you with.”
John has his phone out and is taking a picture. Did they plan this while I was focused on her? It’s too smooth.
She pulls out of Austin’s embrace and reaches for John’s phone. “Did you take a picture?”
“Give me your number and I’ll send it to you.”
I’m not sure if she’ll find that clever or creepy.
“If someone sees it, we can get in trouble.”
“I don’t plan on sharing it with anybody but the people in this room.”
Lexi’s expression says no, but she rattles off her phone number. “Nobody else.”
“You have our word. But any time you forget how good we are together, I want you to check out your expression in that photo.” John’s usually the quiet one, but when he does speak, he has something worthy to say. Damn good idea.

Lexi
My phone vibrates in my purse. I pull it out and look at the picture. Austin’s arms are wrapped around me, the bulk of his body making a frame around mine. And my expression, John is right, there’s no denying that I’m thinking,Oh yes, Daddy. I want more of that.
Oh no, my dad would fire me. I’ve never been so conflicted. I want to kill Beatrix right now.
Austin’s voice pulls me from a million sordid thoughts. “We want our coworker to feel supported. Monica told us to be good role models. Didn’t she, guys?”
John and Bear voice their agreement.
Austin guides me toward the mail bins, wraps his hand around mine, and in tandem we pick up a piece of mail. He reads the front of the manilla envelope, then drags it across the bay of mail slots.
“There’s a lot to learn about how to slide into the right hole. I’d love to teach you.” His hips roll against me, his thick erection taunting me. I’d laugh at his corny analogy if I didn’t want to bend over and let him rid me of my virginity right here.
Bear picks up an envelope, and tugs at the loose corner of the flap. “I’m game to teach you about licking.”
