Looking up at the ceiling, Simone laughs, and her giggles make me nauseatingly happy. She’s my perfect match in every fucking way.

When her gaze finally finds mine, she smiles, and my heart beats faster than three minutes ago. Still keeping us joined, she lies on her forearms and looks into my eyes. “What swizzle stick? Was that too much for you?”

“God, Simone. My baby is a freak in the sheets.” I laugh, putting my arms around her.

Her blue eyes waver, and she sighs. “I’ve never done anything like that before. If I scared you, I’m sorry.”

“That was scorching hot. I mean, my wedding ring? For fuck’s sake, who does that? But I got hard watching you shove it up there. I guess I’m a freak too.”

Simone grins. “Now we orgasmed on each other’s rings. That’s a special bond right there.”

“It is. You certainly aren’t boring.” I drag my fingers through her hair in awe. “You are so fearless.”

She scoffs, “I’m afraid of a lot of things. Heights, runny mascara, geese, and the color puce, but my biggest fear is losing my prince.”

“No worries there, princess. My kingdom is yours forever.” She lifts off me as my limp dick surrenders. Simone crawls up, so her lips hover over mine, and I whisper, “I’ve been searching my entire life for you, Simone.”

“And I was right in front of your face. Like I am now.” She shakes her head. “I warned you not to fall for me.”

I bring her face closer and kiss her. When she pulls away, I stroke her cheek as we stare at each other. I say, “I couldn’t help it. I told you that was the last thing I’d ever feel for you. I lied. It was the first thing.”

“I love you more than anything, Greg.” She kisses me again before sitting up. When I sit up with her, I glance at her gold ring hanging from her belly button and then at her pussy. On impulse, I reach over and slide my finger into her, swirling it and making Simone gasp. When I lick my finger, she laughs.

“Oh, my God. You know that’s your cream, right?”

I shrug. “Not bad, but yours is way better.”

“No way, swizzle stick.” She laughs again, and I want it as my ring tone. “Let’s shower. We’re covered in each other.”

When she stands, I say, “It’s a horrible time to mention this, but Cynthia got canned.”

Simone turns from her dresser. “What? How? Why?”

I shrug as I stand. “My mom must’ve had enough of her.”

“I can’t say I’ll miss the bitch, but it’s still a shock. Good riddance.” All for you, Simone. No one messes with my wife.

I watch her ass as she moves around to find clothes. I suck in a breath. “Mrs. Rodwell, I might have to take you for a third spin. Our last shower together was infuckingsane.”

She smirks. “Catch me first.”

“I will. I’ll even give you a head start.”

Simone laughs, going into the bathroom, and I shake my head, smiling.

I’m about to start my life with Simone. I just have to sell my soul to Satan’s garden gnome to light the fuse.

Chapter 26

“Oh, my Jesus! Are you not telling me what went down with you and Simone last night?”

My fake frown is hard to accomplish. “I don’t know what you mean.”

As I wipe the counter, Candi snatches the cloth from me and throws it at Clive. “You know damn well what I’m talking about!” But without the cloth, Candi notices my hand propped on the bar. “What the hell is that?”

Clive mutters, “My face.”

I roll my eyes as she grabs my left hand, nearly knocking me over. I can’t help but laugh. “What the hell does it look like?”
