"Yuri, handle James," I ordered but kept my eyes glued on Faye who was now shaking and in shock.

"On it boss." Yuri continued.

"Farrah, let's go," I spoke loud but Faye didn't move. "Farrah!" I barked again but when she still didn't move I reached down, pulled her up to her feet and dragged her in the direction of my room.

Everything in me knew that I had to keep my cool but It wasn't lost on me that even though Faye ended up on her knees in front of James her pants weren't pulled up correctly and her shirt was crumbled as if she'd just put it back on.

Did she really have the fucking nerve to try and sneak off with another of the guards while I was occupied with my father? While I tried to make sure that my father's curiosities about what the fuck I was doing here were sated?

The thought infuriated me and I had no one to take it out on besides my wife.

"Dominic, wait." She whimpered again and tried to get her feet under her but I was way past the point of waiting. I needed to get behind closed doors. I needed to get to the bottom of whatever the fuck was going on.

"Move your ass." I snapped at her. I opened up my doors and tossed her inside.

"Dominic, stop!" She put her hand up as I took a menacing step in her direction.

"What the fuck were you doing with him? I leave you alone for one fucking minute and already you're trying to hop onto someone else's dick?"

She gasped and slowly got up to her feet, "Fuck you, Dominic. I wasn't trying to do anything but get away from all this damn chaos. I went to the sunroom on my own. He followed me there. He thought I was Farrah."

"What the fuck does that have to do with your pants being down?" I gestured to her shorts and she quickly pulled them up properly before tying the strings tightly as if that would erase the fact that I'd already seen what she looked like.

"Maybe you missed a few things while you were off planning to take over the world. Did you not see the fucking pen sticking out of his chest? He was trying to force himself on me. I fought as hard as I could Dominic. Being raped once was more than enough for me."

Her words cut into me like a blade and I winced away.

I knew just how volatile the people in my father's little crew could be but I didn't think anyone would be bold enough to disrespect me like that. Especially not in my own home.

My eyes scanned over her body and for the first time, I saw the blood and bruises peppering her skin. Bruises I didn't leave there. She was telling the truth, she'd been fighting for her life while I was in my room talking to my father.

"Go get cleaned up." I moved back so she'd be able to get to the bathroom.

Faye stared at me for just a moment before she shook her head and started on her way to the bathroom. If she were waiting for me to apologize she would be waiting for a long while.

All the sensitivity and emotional shit I was feeling before evaporated the minute my father walked into the room. I didn't have the time to be soft.

My eyes followed her as she walked or more like hobbled in the direction of the bathroom. The bastard hurt her. He'd put his hands on my woman and she was in pain.

I had things I needed to do. My father made sure to remind me that even though I was busy trying to make new relationships with people there was a whole other part of the organization I still needed to make sure was running smoothly especially with my brother being out of commission.

Yet right now none of that seemed to be important enough for me to focus on. All I could think about was the fact that Faye was limping.

I heard the shower head turn on and without thinking I began to strip off my clothing and follow her into the bathroom. I watched her through the glass door as she dipped her head under the steady stream of water and then just laid her head against the tile, her shoulders jumping slightly as she cried under the spray.

Slowly, I pulled the glass to the side and stepped into the shower with her.

"Dominic, don't touch me." She snapped at me when she realized I was in there with her.

"Faye, look at me." She didn't turn. I squeezed my hands into fists at my sides and counted to ten before I reached for her. I wasn't trying to hurt her but I wasn't used to people fucking ignoring me.

Slowly, I turned her until she was standing face-to-face with me. Her shoulder and arm had a bad bruise I'm assuming either from James or from when she fell down the stairs.

I hadn't seen the fall but I definitely heard it.

Slowly, I reached over to the side of the shower and pulled out the shower gel placing some on to a soft loofah.

"What are you doing?" She whispered as she watched my motions.
