"I don't want any company right now. You can go back out with the other guards." I pull my chin up and my shoulders back.
"Farrah, you're not fooling anyone. I know you're probably going out of your mind being locked up in here. I came to give you a bit of reprieve. I even put the bug in Antonio's head to come early. Lionel getting shot was just the icing on the cake." He shrugged and took a step further in my direction.
"What?" I asked softly not wanting to tip him off that he wasn't talking to my sister.
"Come on baby, we don't have much time." He moved closer and I backed away until my rear end was against the edge of the desk.
"Don't have much time for what?" I whispered.
"Time for me to get a little taste. I know for sure Dominic isn't hitting it the way I do. I missed you baby." he grabbed the back of my head and pulled me forward. "The plan is going just how we envisioned it. Soon both Dominic and Antonio will be at each other's throats. Lionel will be out of the picture and you'll be free. We'll have more money than we know what to do with. All you have to do is play your part a little bit longer."
My eyes focused on his and I realized that he was telling the truth. I'd thought my sister was doing all this simply to get out of whatever debt she had to pay back to Dominic only to find out that there was a different reason for her to do this. She was the one trying to bring Dominic and his crime world down?
I didn't want to believe it. Didn't want to think that my sister would be dumb enough to do something like this.
"What are you talking about? Dominic would never go against his father. You can see what's happening today." I moved my head back just trying to get more space between the two of us.
"Oh baby, I thought you had more faith in me than that." The man chuckled and grabbed the back of my neck pulling me forward softly. "It's already started. You don't think Lionel just happened to get shot by mistake do you? The players are already in place. It's only a matter of time. But while we wait." He dipped his head and kissed me hard.
His mouth tasted like old liquor and stale cheese, it was revolting.
I pushed him away as hard as I could, "No, I don't want to."
"We don't have time to play Farrah. I'm going crazy here." He grabs hold of me again and this time I don't wait for him to kiss me again. Instead, I push him away as hard as I can.
"Don't be a bitch Farrah." He growled at me, getting agitated.
"I'm not being anything. I said no, and that's what I mean." I tried to skirt around the desk to get around this man but in an instant I watched the look in his eyes go from happy to menacing.
"I know what you need. No isn't in the cards, sweet thing." He grabs hold of my waist and slams me back against the desk. My hip throbbed from where it made contact with the corner of the heavy wood.
"Stop!" I yelled as loud as I could.
His hand whipped up to my face and he placed it against my mouth as he tried to force me back against the desk and pull down my shorts. He managed to undo the tie and push them down to my thighs, but I kept my legs clamped shut.
"Fucking open!" He growled and dug his dirty hands into the crease between my legs squeezing hard enough to bring tears to my eyes. I cried out but the sound was muffled thanks to his hand on my mouth.
He pushed me back against the desk and the papers as well as a few books scattered to the ground. Panic swam in my mind as I realized for the second time I was about to get raped.
This couldn't happen, I wouldn't survive another time.
I swiped my hand along the desk searching for something. Anything that would serve as a weapon.
A pen.
I grabbed it and with all my might I brought it down hard against the man's chest.
It must've been of good quality because it sunk into his skin and didn't break.
"Ah! You fucking bitch! What the hell is your problem!" The man stumbled back and grabbed at the weapon now sticking out of his upper chest.
I rushed out of the sunroom, desperately trying to pull my pants up as I got away from him.
I'd run from this room earlier but this time I was running for my life.
The man chased after me and just as I got to the middle of the stairs he put his foot in the middle of my back and pushed hard. I tipped forward and before I could catch myself I went tumbling foot over head down the hard marble stairs.
My head spun as I collided with the hard floor at the bottom of the stairs but the man was still coming for me. Murder clear in his eyes.
