"Really? And what would you wear to impress a room full of killers and deviants? What color do you suggest?" He replied. I simply shook my head, not having the slightest clue what my answer should be. He was right, of course; I had no experience in this field.

My sister had always hung around the bad crowd. She knew exactly what to say and what to wear to any function no matter who'd be in attendance. I'm sure she'd have no issues fitting into whatever event Dominic was taking me to tomorrow, but I, on the other hand, would stick out like a sore thumb.

"Get dressed. I'll have the car waiting in twenty minutes." Dominic dropped the conversation and strode out of the room, leaving me to think about exactly what I was getting myself into.

Not only was I going to have to keep up this facade for the people in the house, but I was going to have to go out in public and make everyone think that I was my sister.

It was one thing to look like her, but I didn't have a Farrah bone in my body. This was impossible.

Twenty minutes on the dot, there was a car waiting on the curb outside the large house I'd been dragged to several days earlier.

Dominic walked behind me close enough to grab me if I decided to run but far enough away that he wouldn't have to touch me. I shouldn't care that he didn't want to touch me, but after he rocked my body with those mind-blowing orgasms earlier, I can't help but feel some sort of familiarity with him. But instead, he acts as if he can't wait to get away from me.

I could play that game too. If he wanted to ignore me, I wouldn't give him a reason not to.

Silently, I slipped into the car, not waiting for him to open my door or instruct me. Dominic followed behind me and closed the door hard enough to shake the entire vehicle.

"Take us to Voltaire," he ordered his driver without so much as a hello or how do you do.

Everything was curt and to the point. Who the hell taught him how to live this way?

Obviously, the driver must be used to being treated in such a manner because he didn't even bat an eyelash; instead, he nodded once and pulled away from the curb.

The deep rural landscape quickly turned into the flash of city lights as the car made its way through the streets. If this were any other day I'd be happy to see the sights. But it wasn't. Today I was doing my best not to remember that I was trapped inside a small moving vehicle with Dominic Lochley.

We pulled up to a small storefront, and a smug grin crawled up my face as I looked at the window and realized that all the lights were off. It was closed. He went out of his way to get me out of bed and drive me all the way down here only to be turned away. Serves him right. Maybe that means I would be able to go back to sleep.

"Let's go," he grumbled and opened his door to slide out of the luxury sedan.

"What? What do you mean, let's go? The place is closed." I pointed up at the window just in case he hadn't seen what I did, but that didn't stop him in the least, and I was stuck pointing in the air with the door open as he strolled over.

Huffing out an annoyed breath, I slid out of the vehicle and closed the door behind me, only to see a quick flicker of lights come to life inside the store.

"It's not closed?" I asked as I got closer and realized a woman was rushing to get to the front door.

"Nothing is ever closed to me; you'll learn that soon enough," Dominic answered and shoved his hands into his pockets as he waited for the attendant to open up the front door.

A moment later, I'm ushered into a mid-sized boutique with everything from prom dresses to club outfits lining the walls. All of it looked way too expensive for me. A store I'd never walk into on my own.

"Dominic, how good to see you," the attendant purred up at him, and I found myself inching closer, an odd streak of possession washing over me. It wasn't as if I didn't know how attractive Dominic was, but it was just plain rude of her to completely ignore me.

Me moving closer to him did nothing to deter her instead she crossed her arms accentuating her ample breast.

"Nina, I assume you got my message already?" Dominic answered her, not even bothering to acknowledge the way she pushed her cleavage together and leaned forward.

"Yes, of course. Come right this way." Nina turned on her heel and walked toward the back of the store. Dominic followed her, and I dragged my feet behind him.

I wasn't interested in shopping in the least, but at least if she'd already picked out a few things, I wouldn't have to go through the motions of rifling through hundreds of dresses.

In the back of the store was a small room, and lined on the back wall was a rack with at least a dozen dinner dresses.

"This is what you want me to wear?" I asked, only for Dominic to shoot me an agitated glance.

"Obviously, I want you to choose the one that would fit best."

Nina finally gave me her attention as she stepped back and took a good look at my figure. "This is the lucky lady then?"
