Polly: Fifteen more performances then I’ll be in one place for studio time. Maybe you can come visit? I can come home after we record but I’ll be at the studio at least through September

Grady: Let me know the dates and I’ll try to get some time off work

Polly: Okay, I will.

Grady: I’ve got to get back to the office. Lunch is over. Love you

Polly: I love you too. Have a nice day

She laughed when she opened her unread texts to find a selfie of Flynn looking at the camera with a grin while holding a half full bottle of whiskey by his face. He appeared to be at a hotel after-party.

Someone would be hungover today.

Polly shook her head and turned on some music from her playlist. She laid her phone on the bunk beside her.

She no longer heard the road under the tires, so they must be parked somewhere. Probably outside that night’s venue.

She laid in her dark bunk, enjoying the soft music from her phone, staring at the bunk’s fabric-lined ceiling, and taking a moment of peace. Between paparazzi, the schedule, and being on the road, musician life could be chaotic — but Polly loved it and wouldn’t change a thing.

America’s favorite troublemaker, Flynn Morgan, caused yet another bar fight this week. You may remember him as the handsome, heartless guitarist from Late Nyght Smoke who caused an uproar a few years ago when he senselessly ended his relationship with America’s Sweetheart, top model Anika Evans. We love to hate him! Dubbed “heartless” after their breakup, Flynn again showed and proved his heartless state when he started tonight’s bar fight with an innocent bystander without reason. Reports say a female server sparked the fight. More on this story later.
