“Promise you’ll answer.”

“I promise. Pick a good movie.”

“Deal,” he said and disconnected the call.

She glanced at her phone and chuckled. Flynn had indeed texted her earlier about the ceremony. She texted back: Jeans :)

She thumbed through her other unread messages. Members of the band asking what really happened and if she was okay. She sent quick responses to them. When she reached the multiple messages from Grady, she deleted them and blocked his number.

“HOMEWRECKER”

In breaking news, Lovely Oblivion guitarist Polly Worthington turns out to be a homewrecker. The guitarist reportedly engaged in a relationship with Grady McClelland, a married man with multiple children, despite knowing of Mr. McClelland’s family. Ms. Worthington reportedly blatantly did not care about his other relationship. Mr. McClelland’s brother-in-law uncovered the affair when Mr. McClelland escorted Ms. Worthington to a local restaurant on a date. Despite Mr. McClelland’s lengthy marriage, Ms. Worthington does not appear remorseful about ending it and said, “I’m sorry. We’ve been together for years.”

Witnesses report that Mr. McClelland’s relationships with both Mrs. McClelland and Ms. Worthington are terminated at this time. Ms. Worthington loved and left, leaving Mr. McClelland’s house broken and devastated. More on this story later.
