She climbed off the couch and went to Flynn. She wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head against his chest. His steady heartbeat thudded beneath her ear.

He hugged her and pressed a kiss to her hair.

“I have a surprise for you,” he said.

“Oh, yeah?”

“You’re going to love it.” He squeezed her, then nudged her into the house. She let him guide her and he directed her toward the back door.

Flynn opened the door, and they stepped outside on to the warm concrete patio. The evening concrete was hot but tolerable under their bare feet. Potted plants and comfy chairs surrounded a fire pit. Beyond lay the pool and lounging chairs, which led to the gray pool house.

Flynn’s arm wrapped around Polly’s shoulder and tucked her into his side. They walked to the pool house, which had darkened and stood empty. A breeze blew and made the waves lap against the pool.

“I wanted to surprise you. I hope you like it.” Flynn smiled at her and punched the key code to open the pool house lock. He swung the door open, and they stepped inside. Everything looked normal to Polly as she glanced around the compact living room and kitchen.

“The surprise is upstairs,” Flynn said with a smirk.

Polly playfully glared at him and they walked down a hallway with closed doors to the bathroom and guest room, then climbed the stairs.

The door at the top of the stairs was new. There was also a small box that appeared to be a light mounted on the wall beside the door.

“Open the door. Go inside,” Flynn encouraged.

Polly swung the door open and turned on the light switch.

“Flynn...” she said as she looked around.

“Check it out.” He kissed her temple and grinned.

They’d once used the upstairs as a large studio-style game room. The space had been converted to a large photography darkroom, complete with beautiful counters, shelves, a sink, a developing station, and a photo drying space. The windows were blacked out and the only light came from the overhead lights in the room.

Flynn pointed to the light switch. “There’s a button here that will turn on the light in the hallway. If you have things dark in here developing photos, you can turn on a signal in the hallway from that button. That way anyone outside knows you’re working and none of your photos accidentally get light exposure.”

Flynn wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close.

“This is just the beginning,” he said into her ear. “You can customize it however you want.”

“This is perfect. You didn’t have to do this. Thank you.”

He kissed her neck. “Yes, I did. You deserve your own space for your passions. This is your home, too. We can do whatever we want. Think about it.”

He trailed kisses up her neck then brought his lips to hers. His soft lips devoured hers, as always. He could never seem to get enough.

He broke the kiss and pulled her into a tight hug. “I hope you like it.”

“I do. Thank you.”

Flynn bent her over one of the new counters.

She heard him say, “Let’s give this place a proper christening.”

Flynn unbuttoned her jeans. He slid the denim and her panties off her hips. She gasped when he dropped to his knees and his tongue found her pussy from behind. She spread her legs and Flynn worshipped her with his tongue.

When her legs began to shake, Flynn stood, released his cock, and pushed into her with one thrust. Flynn pushed fully against her and raised her up so they stood fully pressed together, him fully seated inside her.

He kissed her ear and murmured, “You ready?”

“I am. Take me hard.”
