“Of course.”

She looked at his earnest face, which anxiously awaited an answer. His green eyes looked worried. How could she say no to that face?

“Okay,” she said. “I’ll move in with you.”

Flynn grinned and kissed her. “Yesssssss,” he said.

Polly said, “We still have probably two or three months before I can move in, so don’t get too excited. I have studio time in New York after my tour. Your house is in Oregon. I can’t move across the country until studio time is done.”

Flynn frowned. “I don’t like it. You’ll be too far away.”

Polly ran her fingers through his hair. “I’m sorry. Studio time has been booked for months for our next album. You know how hard it is to get recording time.”

Flynn’s frown turned into a smile. “Do you have a place rented yet?”

“Yeah, I do.”

“Want some company while you’re staying there?” He looked at her hopefully.

Her heart stuttered. He would move, even temporarily, for her? Touring, they got minimal time at home, anyway, but if Flynn kept her “company” then he was offering to spend the time that Polly recorded away from home so he could be with her.

Flynn must have read her face because he said, “I enjoy my house and I like to be there when I can, but it’s only a house. I guarantee I will be happier living with you. Wherever you need to be. Being with you is the most important factor to me right now.”

He locked his gaze with hers, pulled her hand to his lips, and kissed it.

“Okay,” she said. “Want to come stay with me in New York?”

Flynn grinned and kissed her. He whispered against her lips, “Yes,” then continued kissing her.
