“It’s gotta happen now, Maddie.” He scooped me up like I was precious to him, every movement provoking more and more pleasure, his mouth finding mine then dropping down. Grazing the bites that ached so sweetly, right before his fangs snapped out to add his own to the mix. He bit me and that was the sweetest pain of all, our pleasure rising, rising until this happened.
Fuck yeah, baby… I laughed when I heard his sigh inside my head, but not for long. He rocked the two of us through one orgasm and into the next. God, I can feel it, just what you feel. Oh fuck, it’s like I’m coming again too. That’s it, love. Give it to me. Give me more.
And I did, over and over, until I just couldn’t anymore. I pulled away, tears running down my cheeks.
So this is what you guys were going on about. Because it wasn’t just him in my head, but all of them.
Didn’t we tell you it’d be good? Razor said, his smug tone evident.
You’re not going anywhere now, Bjorn added. You belong to all of us forever.
And you all need to eat. I cooked something with lots of protein and carbs, to help replenish your energy. Hawk’s voice was crystal clear in my head. Aftercare is important, you know.
Dinner time! Crash said, scooping me up and throwing me on his back before carrying me down the hall. The savoury smell of BBQ meat greeted us from where Hawk was turning it over on the grill outside. A robe for me was helpfully left hanging over the back of a chair, along with a towel for Crash. Smoke curled lazily upwards into the night air, right as Bjorn and Razor arrived with bowls of salad and bread.
Everything go OK? Razor asked me as soon as he got close, but his smug smile made clear he was sure it had.
Better than I could have anticipated. We both looked over at Crash, who seemed energised if anything. He talked with great gusto to the others, waving his hands around, no doubt informing them how I had tormented him. I’m not sure I made him pay enough for what he did to me at the cinemas, but I’ve got time now.
All the fucking time in the world, he said, kissing me light. And I have some ideas.
Of course you bloody do.
We had a late night dinner under the stars and it was then it settled over me, the calm and the quiet. No, more than that: peace. I had everything I could possibly ever want, but as the guys cleared away the food and put the dishes in the dishwasher, they gave me one last thing. Shirts were pulled off and so were jeans, every stitch of clothing removed, right before they breathed in and let them out.
I’d met Hawk’s grizzly bear, and I smiled as his massive head pushed into my stomach. I rubbed his ears, his back paw scratching at the ground, right before a big polar bear shoved forward. Hawk bear grumbled, but ambled away, plopping down in the fire pit to rest his head on his paws as the polar bear got a head scratch.
It was Crash, not Razor, I decided. He was massive, but also slightly puppyish, getting way too enthusiastic with his head bumps until the black bear and the other polar bear started to growl. Hawk bear’s head popped up, but he blinked sleepily before dropping it back down again. Crash bear sat on his hind legs, then pawed at the air, obviously wanting me to come closer, so I did what any self-respecting woman would, and threw myself into his thick belly fur. Paws the size of my head went around me slowly, really, really slowly until I got to experience what an actual bear hug was like.
Freaking amazing.
The others weren’t content to wait though, shoving their noses into my ribs until I spun around.
Can’t wait your bloody turn?
I wasn’t sure if they could respond to me psychically in this form, but both pulled back slightly, Bjorn bear rocking back and forth on his paws. I shook my head and moved closer to give him a hug.
While he was still freaking massive, he was dwarfed by the others, so I could duck under his chin and hug him more easily. Little chuffs of pleasure blew past my ear as I scratched at his stomach, but I was rewarded by a great big lick across the ear.
“Oh my god, no!” I pulled back. “Bad bear! Bad bear!”
His tongue flickered out, as if he’d go back for more, but Razor bear stormed forward. He snapped at the black bear’s face, not with any real intent to harm, the dominance display enough to send Bjorn bear scuttling back. But then my protector turned to me, rearing up, up, up into the sky, towering above me. I should’ve been peeing my pants. Instincts deep in my psyche assured me that was the only reasonable response, but I didn’t. I knew Razor, knew that in fur and in skin he would do everything to protect me and that allowed me to give him a hug. On and on it went, the quiet of late night settling over us until finally I pulled away.
I’d seen wolves howl at the moon in movies, but not bears roaring at it. I had no idea what the neighbours thought, as each one did just that. I couldn’t seem to care, digging my hands into Crash’s fur, then Bjorn’s darker one, then Razor’s and Hawk’s. When they were done, we all collapsed down onto the ground, me nestled between their massive frames.
Was this what you dreamed it would be like? I asked all of them, not sure if they could hear me in bear form.
No, came Crash’s reply. My heart sank as his bear shivered, letting the man come forward again. “This was better, so much fucking better.”
Chapter 70
I’d had a week of long, sensual nights with the guys and not so long days at work, getting back up to speed, but by the time the weekend came, I was feeling pretty damn good about myself. Of course, it couldn’t just stay like that, could it? Bjorn came in early Saturday morning as Hawk was instructing me how to make cinnamon rolls and proposed a plan for the day.
“So there’s a big bear shifter do on today…”
I looked up and smiled at his hopeful look.
“And you’d like to go?” I asked.
