So which one do we choose?

HUDSON

Let the town decide. We can put it to a public vote on the two final options.

ROBIN

I’m not sure that’s a good idea. What if everyone finds out who submitted the suggestions? They might try to stuff the ballot box to support the individual they want to win, without prioritizing the best name.

HUDSON

We’re just talking about winning a free overnight at the inn, Mrs. J.

GERALD

That’s a pretty major award, some might say.

HUDSON

Fair enough. Why don’t we let you two mull over the decision then, and just let us know which option you end up choosing.

GERALD

Will we be able to get a sign made in time?

OLIVIA

I’ve got a connection with a shop in Albany, and they’re ready for our order. I think it’ll be fine.

HUDSON

And if the sign isn’t ready by the reopening, that’s okay. We’ve gone this long without an official name for the pub. Another week or so won’t matter.

ROBIN

I can hardly believe the day is finally coming. After all this time. So exciting!

OLIVIA

Speaking of exciting, Lincoln James and his fiancée are arriving tomorrow. If you two are home in time and want to stop by and meet them, I don’t think they would mind.

GERALD

That Hadley Morgan sure is a pretty little thing.

ROBIN

Excuse me. You told me I’m prettier than she is.

GERALD

Now that’s a fact. But I still have eyes, woman.

ROBIN

Hmmm. Did you hear that, kids? I don’t think Gerald and I will be able to come by the inn after all. We’ve got a lot of laundry and Netflix to catch up on after a week away. But keep us posted on how things go.
