"Smile," he orders, and we do.

The shutter clicks several times, capturing the moments.

Handing back the camera, Liam says, "Have a look," his eyes twinkling. The pictures are perfect – our little family, with the majestic Eiffel Tower in the background.

Just as Chloe and I begin to admire them, Jamie’s little fingers tug at our hands.

"Mummy, Daddy, I want to go up the tower!" His voice brims with excitement.

Before we can even respond, Emily and Claire, Liam's and Kate’s daughters, echoes Jamie's sentiments. "Me too!"

Kate laughs, a playful glint in her eyes.

"Seems like our kids are braver than we are."

Chloe giggles, squeezing Jamie's hand.

"When it comes to trying new things, they clearly take after their fathers."

The group bursts into laughter, the infectious sound spreading around. Chloe and Kate, hand-in-hand with our excited kids, start to make their way towards the entrance.

Liam and I lag behind, walking side by side.

"You know," I begin, glancing sideways at him, "even after five years, I’m still taken aback by how cool you were when I told you Chloe and I were a thing."

Liam chuckles, giving me a sly look.

"Aaron, I told you back then, and I'll say it again. It wasn’t exactly a surprise. You've never been subtle about how you felt for Chloe."

A hearty laugh escapes my lips. Even in the heart of Paris, some things never change.

"Honestly, I thought you had no idea about Chloe and me. I never said anything because I thought it would be... awkward."

Liam nods understandingly, his eyes soft.

"I know, Aaron. And I appreciated it. But now? You're married to my sister, and you two have Jamie. That's what truly counts."

I can't help but smile, feeling the warmth of the Parisian sun on my skin.

"It’s wild, isn't it? Both of us settled, happy, successful... Sometimes I can't believe I even made it this far."

Liam gives me a knowing look.

"You remember what I always told you, right? If you really focused on something, there’d be no stopping you."

"Yeah," I admit, a little sheepishly. "I guess I just had to figure out what that something was."

Liam playfully taps my back, a smirk on his lips.

"I'm glad you did. But remember buddy, you might be my best friend, but if you ever hurt my sister, I've got to look out for her."

I chuckle, my heart light.

"I get it, Liam. But believe me, I could never. Chloe's everything to me."

Liam's eyes sparkle with mischief. "Just like Kate is to me."

I look up, my eyes tracing the outline of the Eiffel Tower.
