A shiver runs down my spine.

I whack Parker’s arm. “Did you see that?”

“Ugh. I told you not to look.”

“No, not the kiss. The look. Yvette was looking at you.”

“Huh?”

“I think she was checking if you were watching?”

Parker grins. “Do you mean, like, to see if I was jealous?”

With a growing smile, I nod my enthusiasm.

“Whoa.”

“I kinda told her how amazing your kisses are and that I felt bad for all the other girls.”

Parker laughs in shock. “You did what?”

“I just wanted to give her a taste of her own medicine.”

Parker slings an arm across my shoulders. “Looks like it did the trick, Kikki.”

“Ugh. Is that nickname really sticking?”

“I can go back to sweetie-pie, if you like?”

I cup a hand over my eyes. “I literally don’t know which one is worse.”

We move toward the rest of the group when Lewis and Yvette make their way over from the cove. Parker scoops up their towels and motions for me to follow. We meet the two who thank us for the towels.

“I didn’t expect it to be so icy under the waterfall,” Yvette says, shivering under the towel.

Lewis blushes. “Worth it, though?”

Yvette sneaks a glance at Parker as she answers, “Yeah, of course.”

Parker nudges me, and I’m prompted to say something.

“Ah,” I falter. “It sure is romantic here.”

“I’ll say,” Lewis replies. “I never thought of it like that until today.”

“That’s probably why you didn’t kiss me like they did,” Yvette says, looking away.

Lewis is caught off guard. “What was that?”

Yvette wrings out her hair, keeping her gaze downcast. “I don’t like feeling jealous.”

“I’m not surprised,” Parker says. “Kylie said your eyes practically bugged out when you guys were talking about me and Kylie kissing.”

Lewis looks at Yvette for clarification. “Huh?”

“What?” Yvette shrugs. “They’re kisses are hot.”

Baffled, Lewis gestures at the waterfall. “What was that back there? Wasn’t that hot?”
