Before now, I don’t think I ever knew what that meant. To make love to someone, and now, all I want to do is show her that I am her world, and she is mine. Nothing could take me away from her, and if they tried, I’d burn them alive with the inferno that runs hot inside me, for her.
Grabbing her behind her thighs, I lift her up, her legs immediately finding their way around my waist. Her back against the wall, I slide into her, deep, filling her with my cock as she gasps. Her breasts press into my chest, as I bury my head into her neck, kissing her delicate skin. It’s not enough. I want to be closer to her, I want to fuse into her and be one. I thrust into her, the delicious sound of her breathy moans filling my ears as she tightens her hold around my neck.
“Fuck, sweetheart, you feel so good.” I groan as I feel her pussy drip with arousal around me. I feel her teeth clamp the skin on my shoulder as she bucks her hips into mine, her moans growing louder the harder I thrust.
Her eyes find me, as she rests her forehead on mine. “I don’t want a world without you in it,” she whispers, and my cock grows harder inside her.
“Youaremy world.” I thrust into her as I hold her up behind her knees, pushing her farther into the wall. I watch my cock enter her pink cunt, moving in and out slowly, her arousal coating every fucking inch of me. My hands are still red, the blood staining my skin.
“You could be on the other side of the world, and I’d fucking find you.” I slam into her. “Do you understand me?”
She nods, her eyes trailing my chest.
“I would kill everyone on this forsaken planet if it meant it would be me and you forever.” I bite her bottom lip as her moans vibrate through me. I build a rhythm with my cock and pound into her as I grunt, the warmth of her pussy sending my mind reeling into a whole new dimension—somewhere I thought I would never get a chance to experience.
I know I am condemned as a heartless monster, a killer, but if that means that she is condemned with me, I would die as the happiest man alive, knowing that even in another realm, I get to have her.
“Oh, Ezra, just like that,” she pants through her moans as her tits bounce before me at the force of my thrusts.
“I vow to make you feel like this every fucking day of our blood-filled lives.” I groan as she lets go, her eyes rolling back into her head as her pussy clamps down on me. “I vow to swallow you up in my darkness, where you will be free to be yourself.” I thrust once more, and my own release follows hers as I come undone inside her.
“You’re fucking kidding, right?” Nico exclaims as he paces the room. “Tomorrow?” He scoffs, not believing a word that Ezra is saying.
“It must be done. Before anyone else can try anything, we need to look united.” Ezra explains as I sit here across the room, watching them. It’s become a regular thing now, for me to sit in on business meetings and most anything to do with the Casella family.
“One day.” He breathes out the words like he’s trying to convince himself. “You’re giving me one fucking day to say goodbye to my single life.”
“It has to be this way, Nico. Mama will arrange the wedding with Aries.” Ezra leaves the room, done with the conversation as Nico takes a seat next to me, his head falling into his hands. I place a hand on his shoulder, wanting to comfort him but not knowing what to say at the same time.
“Maybe this could be good for you.” I wince as soon as I say the words.
His chocolate eyes glance up at me, his hand dropping into his lap. “I am not husband material, Aries. I won’t be good for anyone.” I can almost feel the disdain for himself in his words as he speaks them, and my heart breaks for him. Ezra hasn’t told me why Nico is the way he is, but just by looking at him, you can tell he’s troubled. He has this aura that he carries into the room, and everything feels muted.
“You might surprise yourself. Don’t be so harsh when you haven’t tried.” I squeeze his shoulder, hoping to offer comfort. “And I never apologised for what I did when I went to the Brayford house, so I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to put you in the middle.”
He shrugs. “Doesn’t matter, it’s done and now, you’re here.” He gives me half a smile. “But don’t you ever try that shit again. I swear to God I cannot deal with Ezra like that again.” He chuckles, and a more sincere smile covers his face. A comfortable silence falls between us as we sit together, neither of us wanting to be alone.
“Have you spoken to Darcy much?” he asks, breaking the silence, now sitting comfortably beside me.
“I have. She’s quite an interesting person, although a closed book,” I admit. “I think she may have had something happen to her in her past, which she won’t talk about.”
His eyebrows pull in at my words, considering them. “Do you trust her?”
“Honestly? I don’t know, but I feel like I want to,” I confess. “I’m sorry it has to be this way.”
“I wasn’t meant to be happy, Aries.” He looks to me, and the pain in his eyes breaks my heart. “Dominic made sure of that.”
I purse my lips, unsure of how to respond.
“Ezra got lucky with you,” he continues. “He would have never been happy with some mafia princess.”
I admire the intricate stained glass of the church as I watch the preparations for the ceremony take place. Although I asked Darcy what she would have wanted, had this been her dream wedding, she didn’t give me much of an answer. So, I took it upon myself to make it spectacular, nonetheless. The pews are adorned with garlands of flowers, reaching the front of the church. Different height glass vases with fairy lights filled with peonies sit just before the steps, accentuating the beauty of the marble floors.
“You’re actually quite good at this,” my mother-in-law says from beside me, watching the altar being decorated with fresh flowers. I can’t help but feel a small sense of pride at the compliment I have just received from her.
“Thank you.” I smile.
“I never meant for any of this to happen,” she sighs. “I thought my boys would have a secure life with who I had chosen for them. Someone who fit the description of what a Casella wife should be.” I feel a twinge in my chest. “But I think you’re better than any of those women I had on my list,” she admits as she places her hand on mine. I feel my chest swell with appreciation at her words. I never thought I would have her approval, but hearing it from her now, I realise how much I wanted it. “My only hope is that I didn’t make the wrong choice by suggesting Nico marry Darcy.”
