My eyes skate over her chest as she looks up at me, her doe eyes sparkling in the moonlight.

“You shouldn’t be alone.”

“Why?” she asks. “I thought this wasyourevent.”

“It is, but you don’t know who else may want access to this event.” I snake my arm around her waist, pulling her body into mine. “…to me.”

She rolls her eyes. “You mean those needy women who clung to you earlier?”

I smirk. “Is that jealousy I sense in your voice, sweetheart?”

She pushes me away, but I keep her exactly where I want her. Against me.

“No.” Her voice changes as her eyebrows pull in.

“You don’t have to hide it from me…” I lower my lips to hers. “…I like it when you’re jealous,” I whisper onto her perfect lips.

“I’m not jealous,” she says as she wraps her arms around my neck.

“Hmmm…” My tongue darts out to lick her lips, tasting her, and instantly sends my cock straining against my pants. “You have nothing to worry about,” I reassure her.

“Because here’s the truth…” My hands travel down to her ass as my fingers press deep into her. “My skin burns when you are not near, and my eyes search only for you in a sea of people. You drive me so fucking crazy that there is no room for me tothinkabout anything else. You occupy every inch inside my brain, like a migraine rattling my mind until I give in, except I welcome it. Icraveit…” I push my erection into her. “…I craveyou.”

My mouth crashes into hers, her hands travelling down my neck, to my chest.

Someone clears their throat behind me, and I clench my jaw at the interruption.

“Sir…” Henry pauses, my eyes still on Aries.

“Spit it out, Henry,” I say through gritted teeth.

“Apologies for the interruption, sir, but…we need you.”

“Give me a minute with my wife.”

I hear his footsteps retreat as Aries begins to pull away from me. “You’re needed. You should go.”

I pull her back. “Nico will be here. If you need anything, go to him.”

She nods, and it kills me to leave her. I would do anything to stay with her right now and fuck her in the middle of this garden, but duty calls.

“I told you they were up to something,” Jackson says as we stare at the cop now tied to the chair, our men surrounding us on the yacht.

I sigh, running my hand over my face.

“Speak, before my patience wears out, and I take out my anger on you,” I direct at the cop.

He looks up, like a wounded puppy, begging me with his eyes. “Please, I swear, we didn’t agree to it. We warned him, but he didn’t listen.” I look over at the other cop who is now face down on the floor, blood continuing to pool around his head.

“What did they promise you?” I ask.

“More money…” His breathing accelerates. “But I promise, we didn’t accept it. Our loyalty is to the Casella family.”

I lightly slap his cheek. “I believe you.”

Here’s the difference between us and the Brayfords…they might have a lot of money, but we have the fear. Thanks to Dominic, the fear he instilled in our men and the cops on our payroll still runs deep.

Jackson kneels in front of him, his thick legs stretching the material of his pants. “What else did they say?”
